Dear 'Dora,

Well, you won't bloody believe this. Gavroche is a wizard now. With a rowan wand and all. Please, don't ask me how, because I have o idea other than the fact that it involved taking an Oath, someone called Rabbit, a rat, and Nita Callahan. None of the previous seem to include forces of Darkness - or trips to worlds far from here for schooling - so it could be worse.

Why -why- don't I know my children's friends better? Fucking Milliways.

In any case, Gavroche is delighted, and truly, it might not be bad to have another wizard about the House. Just thought I'd let you know since it makes it more real if I write it down.

(Speaking of which, I'm using my new quill - it's brilliant.)

Well, that's done it. I've seen it all.

Hurrah for no forces of darkness at work, though. And you're quite right, it'll be good for you to have someone else to share your magic with. But still! Blimey. Thanks for letting me know, though, and give me a heads-up if you want a bit of help in educating him. I'll be glad to pitch in.
