Guppy comes out of the infirmary and goes to the bar. He gets a black coffee and some lunch and looks around the bar for Hank.
He'll talk happily to anyone else. His usual source of conversation isn't doing much talking right now.

Prue is sitting nearby with a camera. Adjusting the settings for indoor use. There is a sadness about the man. Something that just sort of catches her eye. So she takes a picture. THe flash goes off.

Guppy nearly jumps out of his skin. He looks around, trying to see where the flash came from and checking he still has all his limbs.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to startle you." Prue comes over.

"I'm Prue." she extends her hand.

Guppy smiles shyly.

"Dr Guppy Sandhu, nice to meet you. You don't happen to be a healer do you?"

"Nice to meet you too. No I'm a photographer." she holds up a camera. "Or was, maybe am again..." she looks a little baffled by the tense but then leaves it be. She could tell something was bothering him.

"Why, what's the matter?" putting her hand on his arm

He flinches a little but doesn't protest. The action is just a little bit too familiar for someone he met forty five seconds ago.

"I've got a friend who I can't fix. Magic problem."

Amongst other things

He rubs his forehead.

"Well. I may not be a healer but as a former Charmed one I do know a thing or two about magic. Maybe I can help." Hey with her sisters here anything is possible, "What happened?"

Now we are in business mode. Helping innocents. Expect prying lots of prying.

"I can't discuss it with you if you aren't a medical professional. Patient confidentiality. Unless you are able to donate life force there is nothing you can do to help."

He sighs. "Just like me."

"I understand that you have Patient confidentiality to consider but if magic is responsible for this then I might be able to help." Her camera is placed to the side.

Prue doesn't like settling on the fact that there isn't anything that she can do quite that easily. "And believe me I know how to keep a secret."

"Can you donate life force or do anything to treat someone that doesn't have much left?"

Leaning in close and placing her hand on his arm. "Actually I'm dead so I don't have a lifeforce anymore. But if Magic was responsible for this then my sisters and I should be able to help. It's what we do."

Prue is used to people being reluctant to tell her what has happened.

"We already know the cause. I'm sorry Prue, I'm not allowed to discuss it unless you may be able to lead to a cure. I know you mean well, but that's the rules."

He sips the coffee. "What do you and your sisters do?"

"We protect innocents, Fight demons. We help people." Yes she is begining to forget the whole past tense thing.

"It's not a demon problem." Guppy says firmly.

"Well if Magic did it then perhaps magic can un do it. But I can't know if we can help without knowing what happened."

"No, it can't. We've been through that suggestion. I'm sorry Prue I am not allowed to discuss patients details with someone who is not their next of kin."

Prue can see that this isn't getting her anywhere so she backs off. Figuring that she will just have to be inventive.

"Alright, but if you change your mind just let me know."

"Thank you."

He rubs his forehead. Waking up every half an hour doesn't do for a good night's sleep.

"So where are you from?" he asks, feeling his irritability has made him rather impolite.

"The afterlife. But before that San Fransico. How about yourself?" She figures that he is from England based on his accent.

No Prue doesn't know about includeing the time year or Planet yet.

"Holby, England, 2005."

He sips his coffee.

"I'm sorry. Did you die recently?"

"It's been about five years." it's up to him if he considers that recently. "But I've been able to keep an eye on them. Except when they are here. And now I can do more then keep an eye on them."

"They come here? What are their names?"

"Paige, Piper, and Pheobe." she says proudly.

Guppy shakes his head. "Nope, not met any of them. You must get a lot of confusion over the mail."

"Very much so. It's best when something arrives for P. Halliwell." she laughs.

Guppy smiles. "Yeah, I bet that can be tricky. No privacy."

He sips his coffee broodingly.

"Not much. No."

she frowns, "Your really worried about your friend aren't you."

Guppy nods.

"We're close. She's practically adopted me. I've not been at my best for a while and she's given me the strength to continue. To see her so ill and not be able to do anything is just awful."

Prues heart brakes and she is even more determined then before to help.

"I'm sure everything will workout."

Guppy nods. He's so used to Amanda being there that it is very noticable when she isn't.

"She's in the best place. If there's hope anywhere, it's here."

Prue nods. "Thats great."

"If all else fails we'll have to try gods."

"Gods?" this is the first Prue has heard of there being Gods in the Bar. Yes that is suprise.

"We have a few omnipotent patrons. I'm guessing you're new."

He gets up. "I need to get back to my patient now. Nice to meet you."

"Nice meeting you too." she watches him walk off.

Using a little astral projection she takes a quick peek in the infirmary before heading upstairs to find Paige.
