Ingress walks into the bar, hand-in-hand with Tom. She is wearing child-sized Quidditch robes, pussywillow slippers, and a purple pashmina shawl - all Christmas presents.
She is also bouncing, literally, from the effects of Christmas candy and cabin fever. Tom weighed the dangers of the Underside and the dangers of Milliways, and Milliways won.
No milkshakes or cookies for Ingress, please? Think of poor Tom. (And then slip her a bit anyway).

They do have a thing or two to discuss, but Tom wasn't going to lay into it right away.

"I haven't had the children in all that often, considering the situation. But I will keep an eye out, all the same."

Centuries in administration have left her familiar with that sort of situation. Goldilocks can wait.

He takes a drink of scotch and scans the room to make sure Ingress is safe.

"She's fine. Busy, but not in a bad way. We have had some family news - Gavroche has somehow - we're not quite sure of the mechanics - become a wizard. I'm... stunned, actually, but I think it might be a good thing. I hated him being the odd man out."

"Well, that's a surprise, but good for him. Now for Millie and Wade to find playmates who are more on their level. . ."

"Children... they are a constant wealth of riches and surprises, are they not? It looks like one of mine is begging for attention. Do keep me updated on what you need, and I'll keep you updated on our goings ons."

"Of course, it's certainly not a problem. Have a good evening."
