Feeling eyes on her, she turns her head and gives her a smile full of secrets. "Hello, there."

"Hello." Cywyllog smiles back, a little. "Is it good, your wine?"

She contemplates the wine visibly a moment. "It has it's good points. How's the couch?"

"Oh, the couches and chairs here are very nice. Warm and comfortable. Nice for sleeping."

She smiles. "Do you have a name?"

"I do." She nods. "Lady Cywyllog. And yourself?"

"A pleasure to meet you, Lady Cywyllog. I'm Lust, one of the Seven Deadly Sins."

She blinks.

"I see. I was not aware you had... bodies."

She smiles. "Well, here I am for all to see ... Would you like company?"

"Alright." Because really, if nothing else, chatting with the embodiment of lust might be interesting.

"Are the others here as well?"

"Not that I've found yet. Gluttony would dearly love to come, poor thing, but he never seems to be able to find the door."

She stands with wineglass in hand and walks over. "Would you like a glass?"

She considers that, and then nods. Who cares if she's been drinking far too much lately.

Those who people-watch tend to be watched in return. The observers are interesting, you see.

So, Essus is watching Lust from his spot near the observation window.

She regards him frankly in return. After a moment, the corner of her lips curls up.

He inclines his head slightly, either in greeting or in acknwledgement of being caught.

She casually pushes an empty chair next to hers with her foot as she sips from her wine in silent invitation, her eyes never leaving his face.

He rises, making his way over, pausing to give her a brief bow before sitting. "Good evening."

She smiles. "Good evening. I thought you could have more fun watching me up close ..."

She holds out her hand to him. "I'm Lust ..."

"You're likely right." He smiles, though his eyes are blank, unreadable. "My name is Essus." He takes her hand lightly, and bends to kiss the back of it.

"Is your name assumed, or given?" It's worth asking here.

She smiles. "I've never had another." There's a flash of a memory that fades instantly, whose only telltale is an oddly-timed blink.

"A pleasure to meet you, Essus."

He notes the reaction - he'd only survived so long by being very good at reading people. But he has no clue as to the basis, and wouldn't ask even if he did. It would be unconscionably rude.

"Likewise, Lady."

Her smile widens slightly. "I am no Lady, Essus. Are you a Lord?"

He laughs quietly. "Amongst other things. In my own world, anyway. Here...titles tend to mean very little."

"It would be impolite of me not to use it ... if I knew it," she hints.
