Mercutio is cooler than you, and you, and you. In fact, he's cooler than all of you. AHAHAHA!

He doesn't look awe-inspiringly cool at the moment, though. In fact, he looks kind of amusing. He's on the rug in front of the fire, curled right around with his head on his arm, still reading the Italian guidebook, sounding out the words as he goes, with a contemplative frown.

He'll squeak if you poke him.

"A little book on the delights of Italy."

He shows her the cover.

"A Christmas gift."

"Christmas. I must have missed it."

Leaning over a bit to look at the cover she smiles, "Looks very interesting."

Extending her hand, "I'm Prue Halliwell."

He twists to kiss the hand.

"Mercutio of Verona," and continues seamlessly with, "And I can read it, which cannot be said of much reading matter here."

"Oh, why is that?" figuring that it might have something to do with the language it's written in but wonders why he can't get material written in his native tongue. After all we are dealing with magic here.

"It's nice to meet you."

"I read Veronan, Milanese, Genoan, Latin, a little Greek, a little French." He shrugs. "Most books here are English."

SHe looks very impressed. "Thats quite an array of languages. COuldn't you maybe get the books translated into a language you know. Couldn't Bar do that?" she is new and still doesn't understand how bar works but as far as she can tell it;s magic so it should be able to accomplish such a task.

"I think she can only produce books which exist. I think, I do not know for certain."

He chews a fingernail.

"It is not so unusual."

"Hmmm. Well are you at least enjoying that book?" No her first instinct isn't to make a spell that can translate a book for him. But it may occur to her someday.

SHe eyes him as he chews his fingernails. Old habits die hard. Just be greatful she hasn't reached over to take them out of his mouth. ~~Okay mun is happy she hasn't done that yet~~

"Aye, very much so. My country has become great."

He shows her his favourite picture at present, of Milan in the sunlight.

She smiles, "That is beautiful."

"So what do you do to keep yourself busy while you are here? Other then read what few books you can." any ideas are welcome for the newcomer who can't sit still for very long.

"I fence. I make love. I eat. I sleep."

He shrugs.

"Much of what I did at home."

nods, "That sounds...ah..interesting." Not really Prue's cup of tea but to each their own right.

"Guess I'll stick with taking pictures and meeting new people then."

"It can be interesting."

A shrug.

Nodding. "That's life I suppose. Or at least after life."
