The door opens, as doors are wont to do.
And in flies a very curious arrangment, that might look very familiar to a small number of denizens, and only mildly familiar to the majority.
A sledge. Pulled by four large giant wild boars, huge and grey and bristly with rings through their noses and small piggish red eyes peering out over twisted tusks. The sled itself is menacing and dark and appears to have been hewn from large tree trunks, with crude grinning faces carved into the sides.
Sittting in the sleigh is a familiar face in a familiar outfit - except they're not familiar together. A fur tirimmed red outfit, curving over a stomach that is fat in the pillow-shoved-up-the-sweater way, a patently false white beard...
...and a sketal brow, over empty eye sockets from which two tiny blue lights are glowing.
HO. HO. HO.
[OOC: come and get him, folks. He'll be here all weekend]

He watches the proceedings, with some perplexity. "Saint Nicholas. The reindeer came later."
Addressing no one in particular: "Santa Claus is from a tradition entirely separate from the stringing of Christmas lights, yet here is a Santa Claus with eyes that light up. Does that seem right to you?"

The word Eska used for her world's winter holiday springs to mind, and in Ray's exhausted state he can't avoid the powerful urge to giggle. "Hogswatch," he says when he's got the words again. "Of course. Hogswatch."

The combination is -- well, let's just say it's special, but it doesn't stop him from employing his usual calm smile.
"It's good to see you again, sir," says the Watchman.

Close to where "Sandy Claws" has entered, stand three disgruntled not quite human children.
The Rules of Christmas, as they've come to expect them to be, dictate that the more things given, the more things received.
There were fewer gifts received than given.
"WHERE. ARE. OUR-" Beat, as they stare up at "Sandy Claws" who looks a lot taller and skinnier than usual.
"You look dead." No emotion behind the statement, no query, nothing. Just a statement, nothing more.
