The Return

[Edit: A brief explanation]

*David enters the bar from the main door, cursing under his breath* Never going to get that damned report written up...

*he looks around for a familiar face - namely Lestat or Armand - and, seeing neither, sits himself at the bar*

Bar? A glass of... oh, I don't know. Surprise me. Something red.

*the bar, being the smart, if wooden, thing that it is, offers up a hot glass of Port*

*David smells the drink, pushes it aside, and flumps to the bartop, forehead sitting on it and arms hanging down*

I'm going to kill them. I am really going to kill them.

*Bartleby looks up from behind the bar* You okay, man?

[identity profile] watch-wait.livejournal.com 2004-10-02 05:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Not recently, dude.

*he looks at the young man* You want some blood?

[identity profile] watch-wait.livejournal.com 2004-10-02 05:58 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not. *Bartleby looks regretful* But I've been assured that you can't tell. Wanna try anyway?

I'm Bartleby, by the way.

*paces a cup full of thick, red liquid in front of David*

Nice to meet you.

Yeah, angel. *he looks suddenly nervous*

[identity profile] watch-wait.livejournal.com 2004-10-02 06:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Uh... yeah, fine.

I'm not too well-remembered round here, is all.

You want a whisky as well?

[identity profile] watch-wait.livejournal.com 2004-10-02 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
*Bartleby nods* You'll find out soon enough. I... went a bit crazy. Shot Ingress. Broke Tonks' nose. Fucked up Constantine. Hurt Crowley. That kind of thing.

*he starts drying glasses, his face expressionless*

Oh, and before that I tried to unmake creation.

[identity profile] watch-wait.livejournal.com 2004-10-02 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Uh... I think I shot his wing. And pretty much just attempted to beat him up. Angel, like I said. So I can.

[OOC: It was one big thread. It's way, way back, over here (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/103493.html).

Faust cast David Talbot a cold glance. He could see metaphysical emenations coming off of him that puzzled the good doctor. Something strange.

"Dr Johann Georg Faust." Faust said, coldly, attempting to probe David's mind. he probably wouldn't succeed- David was the single most powerful psychic ever.

[identity profile] the-dr-faustus.livejournal.com 2004-10-02 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
He attempted again but was officialy and without a doubt, blocked from David's mind. "Have you dealt with the 'gifted' before?"

[identity profile] the-dr-faustus.livejournal.com 2004-10-02 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Faust didn't smile back. Faust does not smile. He is either icy-cold neutral or angry and when he's angry it's like Satan himself is roaring at you. Most people don't like to see him angry. "Unless you count Mephistopheles, demons and other beings of the like, then no, I don't associate much with the gifted. Of course, you could also include my pupils."

"The mid 15th century to the beggining of the 16th. I was executed. Come now, perhaps they wrote tales about me. Doctor Johann Georg Faust. I sold my soul to the devil, Mephistopheles." Faust said in his thick german accent. If it were possible for him to feel friendly or comradely ((Which it most deffinately isn't)) this would be what he was feeling. But unfortunately, his arctic temprament quickly and totaly crushed most emotions other than rage.

((Oh, sure.))

"I was in the Abyss; the Other Side... For a great long time. And then all of a sudden I fimd myself here. In the burning sunlight. With air in my lungs. I didn't know I still had a body, metaphysical or otherwise. This leads me to believe someone raised me as a Shade, like I have in the past... Odyseus and such..."
