Kit Rodriguez, looking worn out, is in the lead, followed by a just-as-beat Kim Bauer, who's got Chris Chappelle leaning against her for support.
Behind them is Lyrae Addam, using the One Power to carry an unconscious Chase Edmunds and the frozen corpse of Tony Almeida.
Slowly, they too all head toward the infirmary.

Elaine sat nearby, a worried look on her face as she watched him. In his hands is a large, silver-colored pendant, the design a Celtic knot. Every once in a while his gaze shifted from the pendant in his hands, to the door.
It won't open for him, even with this pendant. (Though he knows the pendant doesn't open the door but he'd thought it would be enough.) He's not going on this mission, he knows that, he's known it since he first arrived out here but still he keeps hoping something will change.
When he pauses by the bar, Elaine catches his hand in hers and gives it a little squeeze. It's a small touch but he manages a half-smile for her.

Sharpe's clothes and sword are covered in blood, and Behrooz is barely conscious, leaning on him. The younger man is bleeding heavily, from a rather nasty bullet wound to the gut.

Waiting at the bar, just as she promised, is Chris. She glances to her watch and the door every so often. It's not that she's been waiting long, it's just that every minute that passes feels like an hour.
She's joined by Behrooz, then Sharpe and finally, Chase. As soon as everyone is ready, they leave the bar, stepping out into the wintry night beyond the door.
For the first time in weeks, Chris feels hopeful.

Eyes half-closed to protect them from the light, Chris stepped into the bar. Even though it hurt and everything was hazy around the edges, she opened her eyes to look around. She couldn't see anyone she recognized and with a sense of impatience and panic, she wasn't sure where to start.
Instead, she stands in the middle of the bar and looks around for anyone she knows, anyone who could help.
