"No, Rinoa, it's clearly a Crgedd demon, not Kraat." Giles said as he walked through the door of his office. He walked through, still facing away, and had only turned around to close the door behind him. He then blinked, and stared at his surroundings.
Hmmm... a pub where his library should be. Funny, it didn't seem like a spell. Spatial displacement from a summoning, perhaps? But why a pub? Unless someone's summoning a demon of getting pissed?

Way off the mark there, Rupert.

(OOC: Close to 90 comments! Wow! First time I got this big an entrance for a pup. *loves* Thank you all, but mun needs sleep. Happy to slowtime.)

Paul. Bar. Accompanied by his afternoon pot of Earl Grey and a copy of 'Existentialism from Dostoevsky to Sartre' He is, as usual, completely oblivious to the various goings on with his fellow canon-mates in the bar but is feeling rather cheerful.

He's decided to write a novel, you see. Feel free to come over and ask him about it. Even if you don't have a clue who he is.

Behrooz had left the moment he'd had the chance the previous night, but still, being on the outside hadn't changed his mood much.

When he reenters, he looks around briefly before sitting at the bar and ordering a sandwich for lunch. He doesn't open his bag, but rather occupies himself with picking at the sandwich little by little, looking at it as though it irritated him.

Some kind of conversation would probably be helpful at the moment.

[ooc: Mun is doing some chores, so tags may be slow.]

Paul is in the bar, waking up with some English Breakfast tea and scones. Billie Holiday is on the iPod the bar delivered along with breakfast and he's reading a Truman Capote biography. He looks around every so often, hoping to avoid the international terrorist he vomited on and the ex-wife who told him he's dead. Other than that, he's downright cheery.

He's left a note for Jen Slater at the bar and this might be one of the reasons for his cheer.

Paul is in the bar. He's happier than he's been since he arrived, as a result of having spent a lovely evening bonding with one Miss Jennifer Slater.

Feel free to destroy his good mood.

Jen is in the bar.

Jen is not happy.

Jen is still under the honesty spell.

That's all you need to know.

[ooc: After this]

Kim comes back downstairs, her hair loose around her face and a seductive look in her eyes.

No wonder she's unhappy. She's trapped. Time to change that.

She orders a cocktail and sips it slowly while looking around for a new man - hopefully sexy and foreign.

[Summary: Ramon Salazar is shocked to learn of Paul's death and connection to Jack Bauer. Paul vomits on Ramon. Go Paul.]

Paul. Sleepy. Sick. Peaceful corner to himself, herbal tea and an orange. Having trouble keeping his head up. He's lonely and could use someone to make him feel human again for awhile.

And don't even think about laughing at the fact that the bar gave him 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' for some light, while-sick reading. That would just be a bit too much for Paul to take at the moment.

A not'dead, ex-federal agent is sitting in his usual spot by the fireplace, his feet up on an ottoman. He looks--and feels--like hell, but it's not an unhappy look on his face. Of course that's probably becuase there are certain things he's decidedly not thinking about, but hey, give him a few days. It's not every day someone gets a second chance at life, with as close to a clean slate as you can get.

Jen is down in the bar.

Her first instinct is to look for a bartender but then she remembers the whole "magic bar" thing.

So, after looking around a bit to make sure no one is in earshot, she asks the bar for a ham sandwich and a coke.

She gets it with pickles and chips on the side.

Jen pays with her credit card. She winces a bit at the idea but if being stuck in a bar at the end of the universe doesn't count as an emergency - what does?

[OOC: Jen has another unsucessful talk with Tony. She meets Paul Raines as well and their conversation goes more smoothly.]

Paul is at a corner table in the bar. He has a bit of a headache and is feeling lonely. A copy of 'Daily Reflections for Highly Effective People' is open but he hasn't turned the page in awhile. He's distracted by his pot of Earl Grey and scones and wanting someone to share them with. Anyone feel like keeping him company?
[identity profile] innocentknight.livejournal.com
Paul Raines is huddled in a corner of the bar somewhere. It's only his second day in Milliways so he's still a bit on the perplexed side. With his order of Earl Grey from the bar came a copy of Elizabeth Berg's 'Escaping Into the Open: The Art of Writing True', a swanky pen and a black, spiral-bound journal.

He's correctly assuming that it's introspection time. He's welcoming (silently begging for actually) distractions.

Castle inna bar, because his mun's favorite pup is still out of commission and she's really sick of playing Geneforge 3 he'd rather socialize than sulk today.

"Huh," he says to himself. "They redid the varnish on the Bar again."

He orders coffee and pancakes and is pleasantly surprised when they show up promptly. Everything must be back to normal, whatever it was that happened. This makes him happy.

After a long wait, Audrey turns from the bar with a tasty gourmet steak dinner and a glass of her favorite champagne. She takes a seat at a table and begins to people watch.
