The Bar at the End of the Universe

[OOM. Into the fire. The adventure reaches boiling point when history comes alive for our heroes. Dark secrets are revealed, asses are put on the line, and sacrifices have to be made. Chaotic action ensues and a poor choice leads to an explosive conclusion.]

[OOM. With one of the party reveling in the heat rather more than the other, Indy and Alanna travel overland to British territory and stop for supplies before hitting the jungle. In the gaps between the bartering and juggling, curious news awaits them at the trading post.

Undaunted, the intrepid pair embark on a lazy river trip into the Congo, which proves uneventful for a few days... until the local fauna causes a setback. Subsequent escapades lead to slightly more suspicious encounters.]

[OOM: Returning from the Serenity birth, a very weary Lilly gets to hear about Indy and Mel's dinosaur adventure. After the strain of her last few nights, the postponed mini-break to New York suddenly becomes a very appealing prospect. And, with a promise of nap-time included, off they go for a kick-ass day of fun.

Along the way they drop in on Marcus so that Indy can return the Summoning Stone. The recovery has an unexpected byproduct that leads to the possibility of new adventure. Once that's been dealt with, there's lunch at a fancy French restaurant, where Indy talks candidly to Marcus about his relationship with Lilly.

And finally, after many hours of shopping, a bit of drinking, and a show, the couple return to Indy's apartment and appraise one of the day's clothing purchases. His broken ribs stand in the way of a proper assessment, so Indy is forced to play his ace in the hole.
