Snowball fight -- party post!
Contrary to popular belief, there is snow in the higher mountains of Greece and Asia Minor in winter.
When Antinoos came in from sweltering Thebes tonight and found snow outside, he got himself warm clothes like a Greek hunter or Roman soldier in winter would wear, and ran right outside. He had missed snow!
Now he's out there, enjoying the snow and the cold, and acting, for once, exactly as young as he is. After a while, he finds that he can't resist the idea of surprising some poor unfortunate (he's outside, so it's no violence, right), and when a somewhat small and scruffy fellow comes outside, he gets a soft, large snowball right in the face, from a safe position twenty yards away, in the bushes.
Ned Poins, however, is well versed with ambushes, so he spots soon where the attack came from, and gathers snow to retaliate, running towards the shrubbery -- and so, the battle is joined, and soon, there is a big white-and-brown dog yelping excitedly, and a big, blond Scotsman grinning widely and waiting to decide which side to take.
However, when you come outside today, you might get caught in the crossfire; or perhaps you'd like to join the battle just for the fun of it?
[[OOC: Party post -- tag in, then splat somebody else! Have at! Open until the weekend ends. Snowball fight as per this post.]]
[[ETA: Gone to bed now -- please threadhop and have the snowball fight among yourselves! Thanks!]]

The other two might not have noticed him yet, but Jack, in some fresh civvies came out the door just in time to see the first snowball. He promptly went back indoors for a proper winter coat and gloves, before coming out to have a bit of fun.
He's now down by the lake, amongst the boulders there, from which he launches a short snow storm of snowballs at the pair of them.

The first wave of snowballs rains down upon all parties from above like fire from an A-10 attack plane. One would expect nothing less from the Waco Kid.

Perhaps now is a good time to join the fray.

There's a curly-haired woman in warm winter layers inbound, coming from the bar's back door.
Look out, ensign...

Antinoos hits her by accident, and just says 'Ooops' in case she doesn't want to take part.

"Ah!" That, Antinoos, is the sound of a Starfleet officer getting splatted by a snowball. It explodes in a powdery *poof* against her arm, and leaves her looking bemusedly down at her coat sleeve for a second or so.
Normally, she isn't the snowball fighting sort. It's questionable whether she's been involved in one before; wrong part of the world, when she's on Earth. But it... does look fun...
The snowball she sends back might be a bit clumsily made, but its trajectory is distinctly better than its construction. Wheeeeee...!

This is one of the good parts of the season and he moves behind a tree, blocking some snowballs with his umbrella and tossing one out into the fray, it ends up in Sariel's direction.
no subject
Somebody's moving slowly in the direction of your tree, Tumnus, and they have a snowball or two in hand before long.

OK, that isn't true. Winter gear often leaves him feeling clumsy. And there isn't much snow in the Jump City area.
But sometimes you just have to play in the snow. All he needs is a good target.

But on the other hand, the joints get rusty -- and thus, Ned Poins looses a volley of snow at the new-comer.

Somehow, he's made it outside and escaped Bar's attempt at wishing him a happy birthday. That would've made him even grouchier, to be honest.
But it's no big deal. He just needs a cigarette.
Except that he's not supposed to have one. But he's going to light one up anyway.
Screw the snow.
no subject
Such as the approach of the woman sneaking up behind him on cat's paw.
She's not all that practiced at making a proper snowball, so the thing that hits Tommy between his shoulders is flimsy, exploding in a shower of fluff almost immediately.
It's not the technique that counts, it's the challenge.

But it's so pretty.
She's hanging back by the paddocks, just enjoying the winter wonderland, when she notices the fracas. Wide blue eyes take it all in. It's been ... well. It's been a long time since she's played in the snow.
[ooc: oh please, somebody annihilate her. ^__^ May be slow during days, but should be around weeknights/weekend.]

Kate hits him between the shoulders with a perfect 'curveball'; a technique she's only just learned moments ago.
