*laughs* I know what you mean. Never got into religion myself. When I was around 7 I snuck away from home to listen to a Sunday school class. Just so happens one of the kids 'round my age had a hamster die, so they asked the teacher if Hammy would be in heaven waiting. The teacher told the kid that animals don't have souls, and as such don't go to heaven. *shrug* Still like Christmas though.

More or less. But I liked it mostly because it annoyed my father. He was a more traditional minister, and thought it was just more of the pleasure faith.

Well, he's right...and that's what makes it so much more fun.
There was this one Christmas, my brother Mike helped stop this delivery truck full of dolls from being hijacked. So we delivered the toys to this children's home. *starts to laugh* Only he thought it'd be a good idea to dress as Santa and elves.
*laughter dies down to a smile*
Can't even say that it was the holiday,...think it mighta just been him. *smile fades*

He's supposed to be this jolly fat man who brings presents to good kids on Christmas. Even seen him in here a couple of times. He's not supposed to be real, but like everyone in here...he is. But yeah, Santa's got little elves that build toys for kids. They got like, pointy ears and curly shoes. And when we were them, they were green.

That's the thing though, they're never supposed to see him. He doesn't come to the house until after they've gone to bed. And if they stay up late? He passes their house. Basically it's just a ploy to keep kids in line.

Don't remember there being elves in Oz. What were they like?

Small. Woodland creatures, mischievous. More than once I was accused of being half-elf. It might have been an interesting way to be raised, too.

What?! I can't make this crap up. I'm no where near that imaginative. He's got a whole lot of folk lore around him. They even get people to pretend to be him so kids can tell him what they want for Christmas.

Well, they're supposed to be small. 'Cept in those Fantasy books, where they're really tall. *shrug* I can never keep track of all that geek stuff.

Trust me, he's a kid. Big one at that.
