"No, it's okay," she says with an apologetic grin. "I actually didn't know that answer, or the majority of these for that matter. It's just a source of competition between myself and my supervisor. Which I'll gracefully lose this time around."
She snags the jelly babies. "But I won't say no to candy."
Romana looks thoughtful as she chews a blue jelly baby. "Well, you needn't tell him I helped you. What would you tell him anyway? A Time Lord from Gallifrey gave you the answers? You'd be committed."
"Help yourself. I have a ridiculous amount of these things."
"I'm waiting to see how long it takes for him to notice I stole his puzzle book," she says with a grin. "He doesn't need to know where I get my answers."
Eating a few, Sara smiles again. She turns to the bar, requesting a bottle of water. Bad thing about candy--always makes a body thirsty.
"They do pass the time. Another thing that's great for that is a Rubik's cube. Assuming, of course, that you don't punt it down the hall in frustration." Sara's tone states that she has never done such a thing. Ever.
Sara looks a bit startled at that. "Theoretically or actually doing it? I would be too terrified of screwing something up and destroying the future as it is known."
She tilts her head. "I can't really make an informed decision based on just that, Romana. Tell me when, where, what time period, what the culture is like. Things like that."
She shakes her head wryly. "Knowing me, I'd be tried as a heretic no matter where I wound up. I'm not adept at keeping my mouth shut, even when I really really should."
"Great. And don't worry. The best part of exploring is discovering new things. Time's relative and always changing so...exact definitions or descriptions vary constantly."
"I'll keep that in mind. Let me know when the trip is on." Sara grins. "I'll have to make sure I'm not scheduled to work or anything in case we don't make it back quite when we intend to."

Romana might have a long time ago but she has since perfected the art of Rubik's. Not that Time Lords ever get bored. Dum de doo.

Sara smiles wryly. "Once I learned to remove the pieces, I became bored with it too."

She chuckles.
"Hm. Have you ever considered time travelling, Sara?"

"And I mean actually doing it. I'm trying to find suitable travelling companions for various explorations I mean to conduct, you see."

She chuckles though. "Don't worry about scheduling. The beauty of time-travel is we can leave on a certain day and still return on it."
