*Iris smiles pleasantly and leans forward to shake Sara's hand slightly*
"Delightful to meet you Sara Sidle, I am the Sorceress Iris." she slides back into her seat. "I just found this place last night, and I must say Milliways is a rather interesting place to say the least" she glances at a cat on the bar and smirks.
"Well, I met a pretty white cat. Yrael met easy prey, it seems" she says laughing. "So where are you from, Sara Sidle?" she says turning her attention back to more polite company.
"I am from Xanth, the Isle of Illusion. I think we are in the middle or so of the Golden Age. We do not really worry about the counting of time." Iris replies as she tries to remember the year.
"Well I have not been into mundania to see what the rest of the world is like, but Xanth is a land filled with magic. Centaurs, griffins, harpies, and all sorts of other absurdities." she laughs. "Each person has their own magical talent that only they have" she thinks again. "It is very, living, jungles are everywhere and there are only a few human villages. But I live alone." she says quietly.
"I'm not...wanted in polite company. Some Xanthians find my talent to be a bit, shall I say, deceptive. And they find that dangerous." she says smiling again. "But I love my home, and now I have somewhere to come to talk to other people, which is comforting" she smiles warmly.
"I'm sorry to hear that--but why would they fear your talent? And tell me if I'm being too inquisitive," she says with a slight grin. "I get into trouble for that."
And Sara clamps down her instinctive response to the Yrael form. "Nice--I ask you never impersonate me and cause trouble. I prefer to cause it myself."
*Iris fades back into the twenty year old sorceress, laughing*
"I don't exactly impersonate people. I can, easily, but my talent extends far beyond that" she said smiling sweetly. "Like my chair" she says looking down at her seat.
*the chair shimmers and fades into an intricate gilded throne, Iris is dressed in royal robes with a silver circlet holding back her hair*
"It is quite nice to have, I must admit. I never have to cook anything but rice." she says laughing. "And I can still have the finest dragon steak" she laughs.
"They are a delicacy in Xanth." she answers. "Mostly because more dragons eat humans, than humans eat dragons." she giggles girlishly. "Dragon meat is quite tasty with hot sauce, actually." she pauses thinking of something. "Do you not eat dragons as well?" she asks.
"Well, I find the illusionary ones to be quite cute" she says holding the firedrake up and kissing its nose. "That's sad that you don't have any dragons. But it probably cuts down on the fires" she says to Sara Sidle.
"I just love them, I'd let you hold it, but it isn't real" she said in a disappointed voice. "I can't make anything solid. You can look at it though." she says brightly.

She too glances at the bar, her smile becoming wry. "I see you met Yrael."

"Some things are just too much fun though" she says smoothly. "But, I promise" she says smirking slightly. "No fun"

"Are you able to leave the bar? I've heard that some people are stuck here."
