He smirks. "So you're more interested in the computer's well-being than you are in mine? Some friend you are."

"Obviously you're fine or you wouldn't be here. And I'd lose my Geek Guild card if I worried more for an actual human than for hardware."

"Hey, you don't know how long I stayed in the hospital. I could have had surgery on this thing."

The mention of surgery makes Tony rub his hand against a scar on his neck.

"No, mommy, Tony doesn't need a blankie." He rolls his eyes. "Something about injured people bring out the mother in everyone."

"How long do you have to keep the cast on?"

"Good. I can sign it if you want."

"A good CSI is never without a pen," she says haughtily, pulling out a Sharpie.

"Oh ye of little faith..." she bends over his leg, pen poised.

She writes with a flourish and a smirk, Man VS. Gravity-->Gravity Won, and initials next to it.
