One Drug Lord, lazing about the place and cleaning a couple of swords. One regular one and one rather filled with magic.
No, he really doesn't have anything better to do.
He's also - some people will be glad to know - leaving in a couple of days, for a while. If you want a chance to meet him/bitch him out/throw things etc, now would be a good time.

Arithon thinks about that for a while, then reluctantly nods and amends,
"Kill him if you get the opportunity."
If Ramon were other than he is, Arithon would show him the wounds Rachel took. Ramon, however, is what he is and would not be outraged by them.
Arithon is outraged.

'Fair enough then.' Hey, he's not reformed or anything. He'll gladly catch someone out of view of the bar and quietly make sure they don't bother Arithon again. No problem with that.
But no, Rachel's wounds would not bother him. He's never met the woman, he wouldn't care.

These things work out, sometimes.
Arithon nods, relaxing just a hint, and eats at the soup doggedly. After half the bowl,
"How are you?"

'I'm alright. Spent a couple of days in the cells so that nothing I've done here can rise up again later on and be a distraction if I'm needed. And I went home for a couple of days to fix a few things up with Hector. Just spending time with Random now really, before I go properly.'
He still hasn't chosen a day. It's pointless to put it off but he can't pull away yet.

Arithon gets distracted for a few seconds of shocked and stunned horror, then tears his eyes away from the sword and back to the soup,
"Perhaps you shall have dinner with Chiavalden and myself before you go."
He hasn't talked to her about it, yet.

Beat. 'I haven't used it on anything yet. I'm not exactly sure what'll happen if I do.'
Because it seems a bit excessive really, to use a sword of such power to practice on, say, a demon bunny or something. They'd probably die just getting close to it, or something.
'That'd be nice. You'd better ask her first though. I'm still not exactly her favourite person although we've talked a bit about that recently.'
He's still not exactly sure where he stands with Bianca, but it's better than it was before, he thinks.

He says with a blink,
"I shall do that. Ask her."

He shrugs and puts it down. 'Yeah, that'd be good then.'

"How is Random? I have not spoken with him..."
no subject
'Go on. And - he's fine. His asshole brother beat the crap out of him and broke his arm, and he's thinking of heading back to Amber for a while while I'm gone - but apart from that, he seems to be doing OK.'
no subject
He accepts it, and starts picking at it until given a glare. Then he eats, slowly,
"You have an interesting life, an'roth. A broken arm is fine?"
no subject
...hey, I never said they were good sandwiches. Luckily, Bar's are better and that's what Arithon has now.
'Well no, of course not. But it means that Random won't have to go to his father and tell him that he's made a few Trump cards of his own - which could have got him killed. He fought Julian to stop him telling their father - but the man broke his arm after the alloted time for the fight was up. So Random got to call him on it and tell him to keep his mouth shut. And then his arm got healed, so it was OK.'
Only not, really. Because the idea of Julian doing that to Random at all just makes him want to stab things.

Arithon's head tilts and after a few moments he says,
"I see."
He doesn't. He's too tired to see.

He says after some serious thought,
"I can make it. Thank you."
For all of it, really.

Unspoken, but obvious - Ramon will be watching him until he leaves the place, to make sure he's not bothered or gets sidetracked into helping someone else along the way.

There is a minor amount of staggering, and then he gets to, and through, the painting.
