One Drug Lord, lazing about the place and cleaning a couple of swords. One regular one and one rather filled with magic.
No, he really doesn't have anything better to do.
He's also - some people will be glad to know - leaving in a couple of days, for a while. If you want a chance to meet him/bitch him out/throw things etc, now would be a good time.

Arithon looks like he's spent the past two days singing damn near non-stop and with his emotional shields laid so wide open that an elephant could walk through them easily.
And he's got this distracted look that suggests he's still not all there.

'What happened?'
no subject
"Pensti'era'asan. She was taken. Tortured. Broken in mind. They brought her back, but she wishes to die."
A long pause, wherein Arithon almost (but does not quite) dozes off,
"We are much alike, Rachel and I. She could be s'Ffalenn. I am holding her up, within."
no subject
Food is ordered, and Arithon will be eating. In the meantime, tea is pushed towards him.
'Drink that. How long have you been staying with her?'
no subject
He's fairly certain of that, and thinks outloud,
"The night she was brought in. Yesterday. Last night. Today."
Tea. Tea is good. Tea is the stuff that life is made of. Arithon curls into the booth and sips at it while leaning back.
no subject
'Well, she'll have to be alright without you tonight. You need to sleep. You can go back to her in the morning if she needs you.'
It looks pretty clear to him that Arithon wouldn't be able to take another night of it anyway.

He starts to protest, then glances at the swords, and nods. Not because he thinks Ramon will use one, just that he knows that it is, now, Ramon's job to force Arithon into taking care of himself.
Thank you, Asandir./sarcasm

'So who tortured her and why?'
no subject
Arithon manages after a moment. There were some bad moments by the lake. Very bad ones.
Ones where he got the full sensory download of it.
"I...because he could. Because she left."
no subject
'Spoke to Bianca yesterday. She seems to be doing a little bit better - have you seen her in the last two days?'
no subject
He says with a faint sigh,
"She is so fragile..."
He's out here now because Rachel made him leave.
no subject
He wonders if there's a way to contact the man's wife.
'Where's Bianca now, do you know? I think you should see her - after you've eaten.' The soup is pushed closer. 'Come on Arithon, I'm not kidding around.'
no subject
He says with the same manic sort of cheerfulness that marked certain portions of their time in the woods,
"To see her, to hold her, to fall asleep with my nose buried in her hair and my arms around her."
And with a faintly distrusting look at the food, he starts in on the soup.

She spared Ramon a glace to notice it's him, there's a muffled "Hello." But most of her attention is on the swords.
no subject
'Hello Elizabeth. What's up?'
He notices the interest and can't blame her. Both the swords are pretty gorgeous.
no subject
She tilts her head a little, and the swords might be in her veiw again. "You?"
no subject
'Went home briefly, couple of days in the cells and now just getting ready to walk out the door.' He shrugs. 'Fairly straightforward when it all comes down to it.'
He holds up the gleaming blade and examines it for marks. 'What do you do when the full moon comes round? Just head out to the forest for a few days?'
no subject
She gives a small frown. "Why did you spend a couple days in the cells?"
"Just the night. I have to shift on the full moon. If I don't, my body will do it for me. That and a lot of the other shifters come out on full moon whether they have to or not. It's usually a pretty fun hunting night."
no subject
Sometimes he wishes he could shift whenever he felt like it. But he's really just glad that he's got the ability at all, he's not about to complain.
'I chose to go into the cells - I need to tie up loose ends before I leave here. Things have changed for me and I can't have past things coming back to bite me in the ass later - better to just get them out of the way I think.'
no subject
"Past things are always a pain to deal with. Though that still doesn't really explain why." Really it isn't a push for an answer, just her making a statement.
no subject
'I've been given a...well, job, of sorts. Protecting a friend of mine and his family. I have to do it for a very long time, and I don't really have a choice in the matter. So it would be pretty stupid if one of the things I've done in the past reared up to stop me from doing what I have to, you know? Better to get a clean slate with security here.'
no subject
She gives him a curious raise of her eyebrows. "Protecting a friend and his family? That's a lot of responsibly. I wish you luck with that." She should know, she tried protecting her family/pard at one point. She failed...
no subject
'Si. But Arithon's a good guy and he tends to be able to look after himself as well. I just need to lighten the load as much as possible, and keep him safe. And his wife, and kids when they come along. Help him run his kingdoms - that'll be interesting, to say the least.'
Ramon's never protected a damn thing in his life. Except himself and his business. Whether he turns out to be any good at it, is a different thing.
'You must get bored as hell around here.'
no subject
She gives him a smile. "I've meet Arithon. He seemed nice when I met him. Running a kingdom? Sounds interesting."
"I do, but I manage. There's a forest and a lake that I can explore. Plus books, and I have a laptop, as well as a few friends." She gives a shrug. "I'm slightly dreading the day I see a door. Everyone back home will think I've lost my mind when I return with the 'new' me." The last is stated with an amused grin because while it will be hard at first, it should prove to be amusing.
