One Drug Lord, lazing about the place and cleaning a couple of swords. One regular one and one rather filled with magic.
No, he really doesn't have anything better to do.
He's also - some people will be glad to know - leaving in a couple of days, for a while. If you want a chance to meet him/bitch him out/throw things etc, now would be a good time.

She tilts her head with a look that answers the question with a deadly glare. "Not if it's all you have."
Sadly, Elizabeth's mun still needs to see season 3. She she has no clue what so ever what's going on in his canon.
"The kind that is partially afraid of having the same treatment done to them, as well as being too submissive to do a damn thing about it." Not that she can blame them. It's how the pard was kept for so long.

And yes, that hill would indeed be hilarious to fall down.
'Depends if it's what you need really, I suppose.'
He's never set much stock in getting close to people, not even his own family. A bit different here in the bar of course, but that can't be helped.
'They sound weak. Why would you want to class them as family then? They're only more likely to end up getting you killed.'

"Well since we're outcasts of society already, yea, it's something I need."
She won't say anything about the whole physical need for closeness with other shifters from her world. Too personal a thing.
"Because the wolves would slaughter us if we didn't stick together." Well, Richard might be too nice to slaughter them, though several of the pack wouldn't object to it being secretly done.

Ramon shrugs at her. 'I'm technically a criminal and have been all my life - ao I've been on the outskirts of society all my life. It doesn't automatically equate to needing to hang around with others like you.'
He picks up a cloth again and starts rubbing over the regular sword. 'And if you're that worried about wolves, just attack them first.'

She sighs softly. "There's more than just being similar that keeps me with them. It's a metaphysical thing dealing with the beast that resides inside me." Gotta love metaphysics.
She watches the sword idly. "Wolves have a larger number and are a lot more powerful then us. It wouldn't fall in our favor. Trust me."

She gets a very strong WTF? look for that. 'Care to explain that? Metaphysical? What?'
He looks at her watching the sword, and smiles. Now that he's been given the knowledge of how to fight well, he enjoys them.
'Then be creative. You've got human shape as well as cat - you could wipe every last wolf out if you wanted to.'

He gets a shrug. "Not really clear on it all myself. But when I'm away from other shifters like me, I get lonely. Like depressed lonely. There's something about the higher body heat and the fact that they have a beast in them too."
She doesn't use swords, but again with the shiny comment. That and the whole drifts towards sharp objects.
"Well, right now, I'm becoming friends with the wolves, so the need to wipe them out, not big on my agenda."

He shrugs though. It's not like it bothers him what she does. And then he's standing and packing up the cloths and oil he was using, sheathing the weapons.
'It's getting late, I have to go. I'll see you around Elizabeth.'
no subject
She nods at him, giving one last glance to the sheathed weapons.
"Good night Ramon."
