Another Full Moon

It's getting to be that time; the moon is getting harder to ignore.
Therefore, Jason is standing in the clearing clutching a to-go cup of coffee. They don't break as easily when you drop them mid-shift. He looks to be waiting for stragglers before starting his hunt.

He rolls onto his back, a playful grin on his face.

"Doyle." no titles tonight. He's just going to be plain old Doyle.

He takes a few careful steps towards the strange wolf.

""Doyle. That name is familiar.""

He stretches his head forward, scenting at Doyle.

Doyle rolls back onto his belly, though his head stays low. The strongest scent on him might be that of magic.

"Well, I'm not always a wolf. Have a human form."

Jason stops, cocking his head.

""Not lycanthrope."" The smell was all wrong. He drops his head to sniff at Doyle's muzzle.

There's a small shift of Doyle's head.

"No. Not lycanthrope. Sidhe. Fae."

His head jerks back somewhat.

""Sidhe? There is one...bodies on a sword...""

He may be stepping to the side a little nervously.

Doyle blinks and watches him curiously. Though he's making a point not to actually move.

"Not my sword. Mine has never fallen on non-fae eyes since being here."

""Not you. Different scent. Gorgeous daughter.""

He's at Doyle's side, experimenting with how close to Doyle's head his paw can get.

The shadows blurr and Doyle's now a little bit further away than he had been. So, apparently not close.

"Prince Essus and Meredith would be the daughter." The tone is amused again. It had been some time since he'd even had a glance at Essus's sword.

Jason growls, alert again.

""No tricks!""

His eyes are trained on Doyle again, distrustful of the Sidhe. ""Yes, Essus and Meredith.""

There's a lopsided grin from the black wolf.

"No touching."

He bobs his head. "Good Sidhe."

Jason growls deeper.

""Not natural, not touching. You all play tricks...""

He remember that much of Essus.

There's a shake of the fur around his head.

"No tricks. Just a way of life I've followed for a few hundred years. Not used to touching."

He seems to consider this as the fur along his back lowers.

""Your beast does not speak to you?""

"Don't have a beast. I take this form, but am entirely Doyle inside."

He is now stretching his front paws idly.

He sits, trying to convince his beast that this makes sense. It at least explains the scent.

""Then you do not crave the kill?""

There's a shake of his head.

"Not craved, but I do enjoy it at times."

Can wolves raise eyebrows?

""We can hunt...but no tricks..."

Doyle moves closer to Jason, though slowly.

"No tricks, unless it helps bring down a kill?"
Have to admit, moving through shadows does add an advantage to hunting.

Jason stretches forward again, memorising the scent. In case of such an event.

""If you must. Give me warning though.""

Doyle bobs his head.

"I'll try not to then." He comes even with Jason. "Lead on."
