He's still not totally comfortable with the idea of sitting out in the open, but Daedalus has braved the mass of people long enough to get blood from the bar and find a booth that isn't completely shrouded in shadow.

The Nosferatu is liable to bolt if you stop and gawk, but if you're not planning on it, feel free to have a chat.

Yeah. The Germanic tribes also worshipped this group, and everyone knows about that steriotype. *says the German-blooded player*

She smiles again, just a little bit,

"I would like that. There are always more worlds to learn about, here."

"More in heaven and earth than is dreamt of in your philosophy," he quotes absently.

"Perhaps this is something we both should undertake. We could strike a bargain to each introduce ourselves to at least one new person a week, and then meet up for a weekly dinner engagement to share details."

"Oh, that does sound like fun."

Even if she doesn't really eat. Considering his diet, we'll take "dinner" as a time rather than an activity, yes?

"What day should we meet, to count from there?"

"I believe Friday nights are traditional for such things. Shall we say, 8 pm?"

"Friday night at eight. That sounds fine to me."

And the whole thing sounds like an enjoyable, if nerve-wracking, game. She's never introduced herself around to people before.

"Excellent," Daedalus says with a smile. He's also completely unused to introducing himself to anyone. However, the thought that he won't be alone in it is comforting and gives him a clear goal to achieve.

"And now I believe I have encroached upon far too much of your time. I think I will seek my bed for the day."

"It is not encroching if I enjoy it."

She says honestly,

"Sleep well, as the sun travels."

He nods. "Thank you. Always a pleasure."

Then the vampire finishes the last of his drink and makes his way up the stairs, in a far better mood than he's been in since becoming trapped here.
