Hank sits at his table just outside of the Infirmary, watching sensors and reading as he taps at his rather odd looking laptop, once more working on the current problems.
A bit of fresh air sounded to him like just what the Doctor should order, so he had ordered it, and then followed Doctor's orders and here he was.
The remains of lunch lays on a plate somewhere on his table as he keeps an eye on work, the Infirmary, his reading, and maybe the Bar as well.

She seems chipper and upbeat. It may be an exgeration of her current mood but she pulls it off well because she is doing much better then last night.
"Afternoon Hank."
no subject
"Hello, Amanda. How are you feeling?"
His eyes are curious and concerned.

"I am glad you are feeling better."
He glance sat her, then at the Door.
"You mean you are Bound?"
no subject
"Better isn't too hard. Especially since certain friends of mine seem to be feeling better." her eyes are warm. Still pained but warm. "How are you doing?"
no subject
"I am well, just working hard and trying to push forward plans for the wedding. We should be sending out invitations soon. Things have been so hectic lately I havent even gotten around to properly announcing it yet."

no subject
"I will, I do. I keep completely watch over my system, trust me on that."
no subject
"How are things back home?"
no subject
And he sounds happy about it.

Warm tears are falling from her eyes. It would seem that she is a bit less stable then she had hoped. She misses Nina more then she can say and has had a hard time telling people about it. In part because she doesn't feel that it's her place.

"It's okay, Amanda. Let it all out. It'll be alright. Whatever sorrows and darknesses come, it will be okay."
He just gently holds his friend and lets her cry it out.
no subject
Eventually she gets herself under control and sits back drying her tears with a napkin. "Sorry Hank. I didn't mean to..." she trails off. THis isn't like her and she doesn't like it.
no subject
"Amanda, there is nothing wrong with crying. It is a good and healthy release. And friends are always ehre for pne another. It's okay."
He hands her a glass of water to drink.

Amanda can't remember if she told Hank about being an ex-thief. Okay well she may have slipped a couple of times.
no subject
"A few of my friends would agree with you."
Remy was the best at what he did after all.
Hank smiles.
"I hope you manage to have fun in whatever way makes you happy as long as you arent hurting."
no subject
"The last thing I did with Nina was steal the Dresden Green Diamond." she looks sorrowful, "She was being nice and trying to help keep my mind off of Serena."
no subject
"Sounds like an ambitious project. It went well?"
He doesnt exactly approve, but it isnt any of his business and he is always concerned about friends.

At which point she starts to ball again.
no subject
"All things and all people's time come to an end, Amanda. It is only natural to grieve. Just let yourself do so."
no subject
Gratefully acepting the hankerchief and drying her eyes again, "Things are just different withthis place. It's not like back home." where I'm more guarded
no subject
"I know. It is never easy to let go of friends. Just... I hope you find a place of hope and solace in your heart."

He shakes his ehad.
"I dont know."
no subject
And that is exactly what she is going to do.
no subject
"I am sure you will find him."
Hank doesnt mention she is fairly sure he will hear from magius soon, but then he doesnt talk about Coterie business.
no subject
"I hope so. But something tells me that if Magius doesn't want to be found he wont be." You know like with all the magic at his disposal.

"You had a encounter with her, too? Singing? Effusive about holywood and broadway and acting?"
He nods to himself.
"I had one of those a few days ago. I did a little digging but didnt come up with anything. I figured today I would ask the only person I know who is involved in acting if he had heard anything, a man named Mark Cohen."
no subject
no subject
"Yeah, I'm not sure what is going on, but I am fairly sure it involves magic. I am hoping it isnt a curse of some sort. "
He doesnt mention the Other, or Blodwen, both sets of experiences come all too easy to his mind.

no subject
"Oh, great. An interuniversal magical ...virus, for all intents and purposes. Well, sounds like some inbvestigative work is in order."
He considers.
"Did Jack tell you the world that this supposedly came from?"

Hank's mind was spinning as he plotted.
