Hank sits at his table just outside of the Infirmary, watching sensors and reading as he taps at his rather odd looking laptop, once more working on the current problems.

A bit of fresh air sounded to him like just what the Doctor should order, so he had ordered it, and then followed Doctor's orders and here he was.

The remains of lunch lays on a plate somewhere on his table as he keeps an eye on work, the Infirmary, his reading, and maybe the Bar as well.

"Oh? How so?"

He looks curious.

A michievous grin crosses her face and her eyes light up, "Well there is nothing quite like the exhilieration of planning and exicuting a redistribution of the ownership of certain items of value."

Amanda can't remember if she told Hank about being an ex-thief. Okay well she may have slipped a couple of times.

He chuckles.

"A few of my friends would agree with you."

Remy was the best at what he did after all.

Hank smiles.

"I hope you manage to have fun in whatever way makes you happy as long as you arent hurting."

Amanda could probably give Remy a run for his money. Probably beat him too, or maybe that's pup pride talking.

"The last thing I did with Nina was steal the Dresden Green Diamond." she looks sorrowful, "She was being nice and trying to help keep my mind off of Serena."

Hank's eyebrows rise.

"Sounds like an ambitious project. It went well?"

He doesnt exactly approve, but it isnt any of his business and he is always concerned about friends.

"It went very well. But now such an activity doesn't seem as fun as it used to. It's sort of become one of those things that reminds me of her and brings up the whole grieving thing again."

At which point she starts to ball again.

Hank smiles slightly and gently hugs her again. He offers her a handkerchief.

"All things and all people's time come to an end, Amanda. It is only natural to grieve. Just let yourself do so."

"Of that I am well aware" she says bitterly.

Gratefully acepting the hankerchief and drying her eyes again, "Things are just different withthis place. It's not like back home." where I'm more guarded

He nods gently.

"I know. It is never easy to let go of friends. Just... I hope you find a place of hope and solace in your heart."

"Thank you. I'm sure I will. It'll just take time to adjust." she sighs, "I don't suppose you've seen Magius yet. I'm really worried about him."

"I havent, but my gem means he is alive and healthy, at least physically."

He shakes his ehad.

"I dont know."

"It's not his physical health I'm worried about. I think tomorrow I should be up for Searching this place top to bottom for him."

And that is exactly what she is going to do.

Hank nods.

"I am sure you will find him."

Hank doesnt mention she is fairly sure he will hear from magius soon, but then he doesnt talk about Coterie business.

Hey technically she had been invited to join them at least once and still hasn't been told when they are meeting.

"I hope so. But something tells me that if Magius doesn't want to be found he wont be." You know like with all the magic at his disposal.

"I am sure he will be around, soon."

"I hope so. He needs his friends right now."

Hank nods.

"Yes. I just hope things do get betetr, though I cannot imagine how they will."

"So do I." she stands up, "Well I should go get some rest. Good night Hank." yes it's early but Amanda is still recovering.

"Good night, Amanda."

He watches her with concern.
