Cue one Wedding Dress Dilemma, currently being solved. How? With a pair of scissors and a stack of wedding dress pictures that have elements that Svava does like.
Hah. Take that, fashion designers of millions of worlds and times.
Or-
Svava, at a table with hot chocolate and calico cat, realizing that April is only a couple months away.

"Now what could you possibly be doing?"
no subject
"What does it look like?"

"Touchy. And here I thought Bridezilla was a myth."
He leans over the magazines. "So how's the search going?"
no subject
She motions to the pictures, and sighs quietly. "Well, you can see for yourself."
no subject
He starts flipping through the stacks. "This one is nice, this one is nice...I really like this one. They all look nice, Svava. Or is that the problem?"

he sees her and wanders over.

Right now, she is eyeing a selection of colors with a baffled look on her face.
".... maybe I'll just let them choose what they want to wear insted."
no subject
The voice that speaks is far rougher than normal. And the face behind it is... ravaged is a polite term for it, grief and small hope and fear and pain have all chased themselbves across his face a thousand times these last few days... and have left their mark.

Svava takes a deep breath. "Springtime. April." She stands, reaching over to take his hand.
"Please do sit down, Magius. Are you alright?"
no subject
"I will be well."
He shakes her hand and sits, peering at the pictures.
"Sounds like an interesting job. And congrats, Svava, you deserve happiness. If I can do anything to help, let me know."
His voice is still hoarse and rough, but kind as he nods.

"You know, that's actually a good idea..." A now human-Bianca says, peering at the pictures and absently scritching the cat's ears.
no subject
"... which is the good idea?" Svava looks up at Bianca, biting her lip.
Edielwiess opens one green eye, then closes it and starts purring.
no subject
"Cutting the pictures up. Claire and I just started shopping with mine. I picked the second one I tried on."
Bianca has cats of her own. And she's very talented with her fingers. It shows.
Happy kitty?

"... They are all beautiful, just not what I would think of as as wedding dress. And I know this is a different place and time, just that... it is what I know."
Very happy kitty. Papers to lay on and obscure, and now pettings. Purr.
no subject
"Then, wear what you are used to. It is your wedding, Svava."

There is a light kiss placed on the tip of Svava's ear and an absent minded pat for Edilewiess as Archie replaces Svava's chocolate with fresh and slides into the seat next to hers.
"Good evening sweetest, have you found anything to your taste?"
no subject
"Bits and pieces, and somehow I'll figure how to get a dress that has the ones I want for it."
no subject
"Bar knows good tailors, I think. Or perhaps you could persuade someone that the door opens for to take you shopping. I've heard say that the choosing is half the fun."
He picks up some of the disembodied bits of dresses and starts shuffling them around.

"You would be able to try them on and prance about in them as well."
Pity that the groom isn't supposed to see the bride in her dress before the day, or he'd love to be there watching her prance.
