Cue one Wedding Dress Dilemma, currently being solved. How? With a pair of scissors and a stack of wedding dress pictures that have elements that Svava does like.

Hah. Take that, fashion designers of millions of worlds and times.

Svava, at a table with hot chocolate and calico cat, realizing that April is only a couple months away.

"I don't know." She bites her lip. "There's lots of places- but that just does mean I have to figure what I want for a dress, doesn't it?" Svava sighs, then manages a faint smile to Max.

"How are you, though?"

"Well, if it's that bad you could always hold the ceremony naked..."

She shrugs, and gives her stock answer, "I'm fine. And you? Besides the clothing-related trauma, that is."

"Or kilts and mini-skirts." Svava shakes her head, then shrugs with a faint smile.

"I'm doing alright, I would gather. Things happen here, but that's the way of of it."

"That might be an option worth exploring. But I'd advise against neon. It's just tacky."

She gives the cuttings another curious glance, then shrugs. "Yes, I've heard that's how it goes."

"Hardly neon, though apparently you're supposed to pick a set of colors for people to wear." Svava eyes the magazines, then looks back to her.

"Usually, yes. Though it doesn't seem like any new disasters of late."

Max snorts softly at that. "Well, it's only been, what, a week since the last one? You have to give the monstrous engines of doom and despair some time to rest."

"But there's more than one, and they take turns, or didn't you hear that?" Svava grins wryly. "I think its called a tag team?"

Given Milliways, this might even be true.

"Yes, but I think there must be a union mandated break system of some sort." She pauses, and shrugs slightly. "That or they're devising some new and interesting way to suck us all into hell. Or turn us into cannibalistic penguins. Whatever works."

"Breaks do give them more time to plot, true." Svava frowns faintly. "So shouldn't there be some sort of pre-emptive strike, perhaps? Get them all while their sipping their tea, and figuring out the part about the penguins?"

"That is an excellent idea." She grins. It is a slightly maniacal grin. "I think this calls for explosives."

"Ace." Svava grins, nodding. "She may not be Security, but I'm certain she wouldn't mind helping, and we could deputise her for this. ... A specialist, certainly."

"Hmmm." Max taps her chin thoughtfully. "I think I will have to meet this person."

".... You haven't met Ace?" Svava blinks at Max.

"As far as I know, I haven't. And she sounds like she'd be a memorable person."

"She certainly is." Svava nods, and goes on to give a brief description of what Ace looks like- she being much better at that sort of thing than her mun is, really.

"-and she wears a leather jacket for the most part, and she also has a puppy."

The description is memorised. Max grins faintly at the mention of a puppy. "Well then, Bast might decide we have to meet anyway."

She straightens. "I should get going. Good luck with the whole dress thing."

"One way or another- do let her know she gets to bomb the forces of evil, when we find where they have their coffee breaks." Svava grins faintly, and nods at Max, looking down at the dresses.

"... thank you."
