She blinks, and nods as she closes the book. "Is he alright? Has something happened?"

"He had another attack tonight. I had some counteragent made up, so I could stop it before it got to the violent stage, but if it happens again..."

"How often does it happen? Is there a time, a cycle or anything like it?"

"Every week or so. And there are stages. The first sign is a bad headache, then it turns into convulsions. It's after that he starts getting violent."

Svava nods slowly, thinking. "Does he know what's happening, when he gets a headache?"

"Yes. He's been through it enough times. During the headache and the seizures, he won't resist being locked up. He'll want it, even. After that..."

"After that is when we have to worry. He won't be thinking that its good to be locked up then, I'm guessing?" Svava sighs, then nods.

"With who we have on Security, we should be able to do so, without hurting him. Easy enough." She smiles faintly, going for reassuring.

Kevin grimaces slightly. "Ah - that's... if you can see him. He can turn invisible. If you have any heat vision goggles, that'd be the way to find him if he does."

Svava blinks, and stares at Kevin.

"... Invisable? Heat vision... whats?"

"The gland in his head - the one that causes the madness - was meant to allow invisibility at will. I designed it, but my design was... altered, hence the madness. It... creates a substance that covers him and bends light, so no one can see him. But the substance is very, very cold, so if you can see in heat vision, you can see him."

"... Invisable." 'Bending light' goes over her head- even with the bit of science she has studied. But she will agree with the invisable part, now.

"Why you did it, then. Not to hurt him, but you were hoping just for that, insted." She bites her lip with a faint sigh, thinking.

"... I still don't know about this heat vision, but there may be other ways to figure where he is. We all might be able to think of something."

A good portion of Security is from worlds with magic, and then the rest have been in Milliways for a while. Given what to expect, they will quite believe in the possibility of something, and figure out how to deal with it.

Kevin nods.

"It was an experiment - if it had worked like it was meant to, I would have taken it out after a few weeks of testing. Now... if I take it out, it'll kill him." He sighs. "The only way to stop the attack is with an injection, but he'll need to be knocked out or held down if he gets to the violent stage before I can give it to him. He'll fight it, otherwise."

"And he can go invisable." She sighs quietly, and nods. "Hopefully he'll come to us before he gets the that stage, and it can be taken care of. So, if things happen, we're to lock him up, and get you?"

"In the headache and seizure stage, he won't be capable of coming to you. He can barely move when they hit - the best he'll be able to do is shout for security. And yes, you must lock him up immediately and find me, even if he hasn't reached the violent stage yet. It progresses fast."

Svava nods. "We will."

She blinks, and then gives Kevin a sheepish smile. "... You could probably explain this all a letter better than I could. Much better. I could put it up in the office, if you wrote it?"

"I can do that." He goes to the Bar quickly, returning with pen and paper. "Thank you."

"Not a problem at all, Kevin. Its what we're supposed to help with, afterall. No one would want to see your brother hurt, or for him to hurt anyone else."

"I promised him I wouldn't let that happen", Kevin says simply. "If he did, and then the attack ended..."

"He's not to blame, but if he did it, even so..." Svava winces, and nods.

"Yeah. He... wouldn't take it well. Especially if it was Charlie, or me, who got hurt."
