(no subject)

It's been a busy day for our young Hellspawn. He's been out by the lake, swimming and generally keeping himself in shape. Which is why he hasn't noticed anything until now. But, everyone ahs to come in sometime, and he comes in now, mask firmly affixed.

And almost immediately leaves again. Almost. His hand is on the door as his pale face scans the room, eyes clouded.

You see, it's rather easy for any wizard to pick up on magic. And one of the earliest and most powerful sources for magic has always been the natural cycle. Which is going on, everywhere, right now. Fuckbeans.

Yes, there is a lot of wild magic thanks to it, but... this many women, all going through? Oh god, the boy is scared.

"Sounds like something my daft granny would say."

Molly thought for a moment, and then blinked, "Come to think of it... I think she had once." She shook her head at the memory.

Oh look, it's another Molly GLARE.

"Yes."

"..."

Look, more glaring! What fun!

"Maybe but she didn't mind me getting tossed to the faeries in the first place. And she got worse after that. Not just banging her pan, and leaving milk out. She kept saying to keep out for fairy circles. Thought I was going to follow her to the loony bin for a while there."

Molly nodded, "I know. Not that it'd matter now. Last time..." She remembered her paintings of them.

"I felt welcomed home..." She quietly said, seeming distant for a moment.

"The green bitch cursed me once, and I retaliated by burning a good chunk of Fairie. Of course there's strong feelings." Molly retorted. And then she became crazy for a while as result.

She then realized something in how Tim said it.

"Oh... really? I had a feeling a lot of me is still fairie. I still need this after all." She reached for her neck, and showed off the green stone pendant there. Normally hidden away with a glamour.

She then asked, wondering, "Though I suppose it would be different if I was like that Goddess version, right?"

"I suppose... and I thought she was glad to be rid of me at the time. And all because I found myself competing with the Amadan for who's the bigger fool contest."

Molly shook her head.

She then replied, "You did? I guess there's how many of me out there as there is of you?" She was found it comforting somehow and yet disturbing too.

She chuckled, "Told him I was a fool."

Molly blinked at that. "Duplicate...? Not sure if I want to know. Though why me? I mean, we grew up together, and go back a long ways. He even told me how some were seeing me as a holy figure too, along with him..."

She softly asked, "What are we, Tim?"

[identity profile] gaelic-fae-girl.livejournal.com 2006-02-19 07:17 am (UTC)(link)
Molly facepalmed at that.

"...That's not what I meant."

She sighed, "I mean, you're the Opener, a magician, a god... all these things apparently. So what does that make me? And I'm sure it can't just be 'lover or friend of...' Why always both of us? I mean, I tried to put distance, and leave you behind becuase you left me behind. And we found each other again anyway. Why?"

[identity profile] gaelic-fae-girl.livejournal.com 2006-02-20 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
"He is odder than the Tim I know, and that's saying a lot. I thought it was because of this place. It's stranger than any of our worlds."

Molly gave him an odd look, "Other half? I... wanted to believe I didn't love him. Even as part of me always will. And I think part of him does too. But his conscience? Might explain a few things. My Tim mentioned how some of it went after we uh, seperated."

[identity profile] gaelic-fae-girl.livejournal.com 2006-02-20 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
Molly became very quiet at that, and stared back at him, her blue eyed wide. She was clearly stunned by that.

Finally...

She bitterly remarked, "And I bet he had no idea when he was pushing me away. Nothing real but magic to him for a while then."

She closed her eyes, now feeling watery.

"Oh Tim...really such an eejit sometimes..."

Molly nodded, "I couldn't believe it when he told me. Still have a hard time believing it."

She then wondered with growing horror, "I hope that's not going to happen in my world as well..."
