(no subject)

It's been a busy day for our young Hellspawn. He's been out by the lake, swimming and generally keeping himself in shape. Which is why he hasn't noticed anything until now. But, everyone ahs to come in sometime, and he comes in now, mask firmly affixed.

And almost immediately leaves again. Almost. His hand is on the door as his pale face scans the room, eyes clouded.

You see, it's rather easy for any wizard to pick up on magic. And one of the earliest and most powerful sources for magic has always been the natural cycle. Which is going on, everywhere, right now. Fuckbeans.

Yes, there is a lot of wild magic thanks to it, but... this many women, all going through? Oh god, the boy is scared.

Angela looks up from the book she's engrossed in, sees him, smiles and waves.

She's not dangerous.

She wonders why he looks so...worried. Angela's been up in her room most of the day, so she's pretty oblivious.

"Hi, Hellspawn." She thinks she's got the etiquette down right. Masky-thing: Hellspawn. No masky-thing: Tim.

"What's wrong?"

Her color might be a little high. And she might have been lying down with a heating pad most of the morning, but she's not bad now. Hence, the being social thing.

Angela's a bit taken aback. Guys just don't...talk about that stuff where she's from.

But then again, most high school boys are pretty dumb sometimes. And she doesn't have much to do with them.

She blinks. "Oh."

Pause.

"How do you know that?"

[identity profile] angela-edmunds.livejournal.com 2006-02-17 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
"Wow." She closes her book, keeping her place with her finger. "I didn't know it was a magical thing. But I guess...it makes sense. It's got to be weird to feel it that way, though."

She grins a bit. "I promise I won't take your head off, though. I might have been cranky this morning, but not so much now."

Because Angela? Is not a Morning Person.

There is a gloved hand being waved in front of his eyes. "Hey. You okay there?"

Max is, of course, cheerfully oblivious to the mystical emanations of the normal human menstrual cycle. And anything else about it that she hadn't picked up from one roommate or another over the years. So his apparent fear is a little bewildering.

[identity profile] transgenic-max.livejournal.com 2006-02-17 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
Blink. Blink. Stare. "Do all men here have some sort of menstruation radar or something?"

She isn't entirely serious, but she does wonder if it might be a survival trait developed after living in close quarters with large groups of women for a prolonged period of time.

"Apparently. Super senses, or something like that." She shrugs slightly.

And then blinks again. "The wild what now?"

Millitimed before the note from Security...

Draco stopped downstairs. Mask, familiar voice.

Oh lovely. Him. Again.

As for the vibe in the bar, he knew well enough to be grateful that the boys and girs dormitories were seperate at Hogwarts for times like this. Because yeah.... he generally avoided Pansy and others when they got as such.

[identity profile] dragonofgrey.livejournal.com 2006-02-17 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
Draco blinked at that.

"Tim??" He walked over questioningly. He seemed rather young though. Closer to his age.

[identity profile] dragonofgrey.livejournal.com 2006-02-17 05:15 am (UTC)(link)
"Yes... what's going on? Different look?" Draco was confused.

Oh, guess what, Tim? It's your lucky day!

Here's one of them on the cycle now, and it's your (girl)friend! Yay!

She was idly sketching in a sketch pad, and looking sullen, and brooding.
There was a large bowl of Death By Chocolate ice cream by her.

Blue eyes look up sharpish at that.
Blue eyes GLARE.

"Not funny."

Molly snorted, "Come off it, you have magic still, stupid eejit. I'm not attacking you now, am I?" The tone in her voice indicated she might if it continued though. Yeah, that O'Reilly temper was something fierce to be reckoned with. Men have suffered being at the brunt of it.
