Oh dear, Guppy seething. Amanda can feelit from the other side of the room. Okay maybe that was just her looking at the stairs again and ten seeing GUppy and being able to tell that he is seething, not a look she is used to seeing on the young doctor. THis warrants further investigation.
With her own cup of tea in hand she makes her way to him. Taking a seat, "Hey GUppy." no she doesn't think he is seething at her. SHe hasn't done anything to upset him as far as she is aware.
It's a really powerful seethe. I woke up with him doing it and he was still seething by the end of my third lecture. I'm tempted to make a cup of tea just to calm the guy down
The deep scowl lessens a little when she comes over. "Hey Amanda, how's it going?"
Paige wonders over, she'd seen the sign but decided against commenting actually she hadn't the mun had written a long post in support if Hank but LJ ate it and she was too tired to rewrite it.
"You okay Guppy?" she asked.
And no she isn't pissy, beware the mood swings though, she might cry!
"I'm okay actually, I seem to be inflicted with the same thing as half the other femals here, but Hank gave me cookies so I'm good." she pauses, "sorry you probably didn't want that much information did you?"
She then hails down a wait-rat and orders a hot chocolate with whipped cream, "you want to talk about it? And can I get you anything?"
Paige nods, "ah the sign. Yeah I was a little suprised by it, I mean what Hank did was sweet maybe not the most tactful thing ever but at least his heart was in the right place, I guess whoever wrote it was having a really bad day."
She frowns a moment, "that's not why you're loking so unhappyb is it?"
"Yes it is. Those people have no idea. Hank has done so much for this place. He provided all the equipment for the infirmary, has saved countless lives, fought in battles for this place. And yet one act of kindness taken the wrong way and he is being treated like some kind of pervert. It's an appalling way to behave to someone who has voluntarily given huge amounts of time and effort, and above all, is a bloody capable doctor, whose expertise I value over all other I have ever worked with."
"I have heard. You can both count on my entire support in the matter. There's no way I'm going to let a good friend and colleague be victimised by a bunch of bigoted hormonal women."
Veronica's in the bar, looking much better than she did yesterday (hair brushed and everything). As she goes for a tea of her own, she can't help but notice the little metaphorical stormclouds.
With a friendly, helpful smile, she says, "You know, you don't have to add lemon."
He shakes his head and forces a smile, not prepared to discuss it with this total stranger. "Sorry, where are my manners? Dr Guppy Sandhu, nice to meet you."

Mun is female and evidently spends far too much time in the bar"No thanks, and that's okay, I'm a doctor, it doesn't bother me. I'm just glad at least you were grateful for his help."
