Mun's never done a multipup post before, so here's to new experiences.

A man and a woman are having breakfast at a table. The man has chosen a seat with a very good view of the door, which he is watching like a hawkbat. Jaina said she would be back soon, but "soon" could be days or weeks or who knows how long.

Jag's never been in Milliways without her before, which is part of the reason he's hanging around Tahiri this morning.

As for the aforementioned blonde, she's picking at a bowl of fruit and browsing idly through Master Windu's accounts of Jedi history. The parts about the Clone Wars are rather interesting. She's got her lightsaber and Security badge but isn't particularly alert for trouble, seeing as the ghostcurse thing has been dealt with.

"So now the blastsword is broken and you need Jaina to fix it?" she asks, ignoring Jag.

"There's nothing wrong with wanting to know the truth," Chloe responds to Jag.

And then nods in Tahiri's direction. "That about sums it up. And I swear I didn't break it. It just...okay, so it stopped working while it was in my possession. Still doesn't mean anything."

"It becomes a problem when it turns into invasion of privacy," he responds.

"I'll let Jaina know you're looking for her when she gets back then," Tahiri offers. "That's really about all I can do."

"It's not an invasion of privacy." Time for a different approach. "I was just trying to make conversation."

She smiles ever so sweetly at the pair. "So, do you know when she'll be back then? Or where she's even gone?"

Tahiri glances at Jag again. "Not exactly, no. Could be today, could be weeks from now. But we'll get her the message when she does get back."

"Great," Chloe replies, grinning at them booth. She stands from the table, picking up her bag and blastsword. "Well, it looks like my work here is done."

She flashes Jag another grin. "You really should try to smile more, you know. You might actually be cute underneath all that gloom and doom."

To Tahiri, "It was nice to meet you. Let me know what happens, okay?"

"Nice to meet you too, Chloe," she says, waving at the other girl. "We'll let you know as soon as we can."

Jag doesn't say goodbye or wave, just goes back to his silent study of the door.

That makes... two of Jaina's friends that have called him cute now. Women are crazy.
