[OOMs: Jaina has some news for Jag. They call both sets of parents to share the joy, but when the happy couple tries to get to Milliways... they can't.

So they comm Tahiri and Zekk, who end up racing down the corridors of the Jedi Academy in the middle of the night only to find out that this problem can't be fixed.]

[OOM: Upstairs in Zekk's room, Jaina goes to tell him she's leaving Milliways and the two realize that even with the mindmeld gone, they're still connected.]

There was a door there on the wall some minutes earlier and now, when Jaina rushes back downstairs after talking to Zekk, it's still there. It's there and this means she and Jag can leave and finally go home.

Which explains the big smile on her face and the impatient foot tapping as she waits by the bar for her husband to come downstairs with their belongings.

A few days ago, Jag finally beat the Battle of Endor on the sims upstairs.

So what? you might say. He's supposed to be such a hot-shot pilot-- why did it take him seven weeks to clear one battle?

This is where the slight smirk comes in. Because Jag? Cleared the sim with every class of ship offered.

On both sides.

So now he is relaxing at the bar with a drink. Mmmmm, tastes like victory.
[identity profile] jedipilot.livejournal.com
She can see him from her booth. He's sitting in the back, almost hiding, but from her booth, above the heads of other patrons, Jaina can see him. She can see him and she can feel him, but that feeling's only in the Force. Loud and clear in the Force, strong or maybe even stronger than any bond she's ever shared with Jace.

But Zekk's not in her mind. He's not there reading her thoughts and being her and her being him and he's gone. The mindmeld's gone.

Gone and there and Jaina keeps watching him, not touching the mug of ale in front of her.

It hurts. A lot.

To add to the collection of Star Wars pups in a bar this lovely afternoon, there is a Jaina sitting at a booth with a glass of blue milk and slices of bluefruit and bread. It's a small brunch, but not a bad one.

There's also a magazine and a datapad on the table in front of her - Coruscant Celebrity. Mara had left it behind a couple of days ago on Jaina's request, and right now, the young Jedi is busy making furious notes on it.

Kriffing journalists.

Wedge storms into the bar, in full 'angry-general' mode.

He's just found out who Hallis Saper is, and what she has to do with this asine mission NRI has him doing.

This is a pilot in a serious need of a drink. Luckily, he's managed to come here instead of his quarters on board the Allegiance. There's better booze here, for one. There's also no chance of Saper following him, which is another decided bonus.

(OOC: Time for seminar, I'll be back in an hourish. I beg slowtime on all threads.)

It seems to be a recurring theme that Milliways, when it pops up in a Galaxy Far, Far Away, tends to be in the 'fresher.

This trend does not seem to be letting up, and man, those 'freshers are vicious.

Wynssa Fel isn't even really paying attention as she pushes the door open, intent on trying to find a hairbrush.

And finding a bar.

Well.

That's new.

"... Jagged?"
[identity profile] jedipilot.livejournal.com
She feels a little uncomfortable in her clothes right now. Which may be the reason why Jaina Solo Fel has chosen to read outside today rather than at a booth. The short green skirt, white tanktop, and canvas-covered flipflops seem, well, not just spaced, but more kriffing feminine than anything she's worn since that glittergown Jag got her in to and out of during their honeymoon.

Perhaps the only thing actually normal about what she's wearing is the lightsaber hanging by her side. Jaina would, of course, rather be using it right now - practicing her form against a traning remote or two - but she knows her leg isn't up to anything like that yet. Especially not when she's been relying on one crutch as a crane most of the day.

So, instead, she's sitting back against a tree, watching the sun on the lake and reading something on her datapad. There's a small brown handbag lying next to the crutch a little off, and another plastic bag with something wrapped in old flimsi inside it.

It's nice to be outside for a change.
[identity profile] jedipilot.livejournal.com
Over at a booth sits a Jaina. A rather irritated (although no long hungover, as she was this morning) Jaina Fel, that still has a splotch of yellow paint on one crutch.

And is in no way happy about that. Nor is she happy about the sight she saw when she walked in to the simulator room this morning, the yellow walls with spaced black designs. The sims, too.

Snub fighters aren't supposed to be yellow, let alone simulators.

So. To sum up? Jaina inna booth with a mug of caf, looking around for Wes Janson and whatever accomplice he may have had with him. She remembers Borleias, oh yes she does.
[identity profile] jedipilot.livejournal.com
Jaina's at a booth again with a deck of sabacc cards and a chocolate milkshake. The crutches aren't leaning against the table this time but are stashed underneath, almost completely out of view. Just be careful you don't trip over them.

She's playing solitare to pass the time. Well, that is, of course, until she can find someone to trick in to a game of sabacc.

Any takers?

A year ago, a rather confused and worried Jedi and pilot walked in to a bar at the end of the universe. Lieutenant Colonel Jaina Solo had been en route to Denon, and never quite made it there as soon as she had planned.

Even if it's been more than a year for Jaina, over six by last count, this one year that passed in Milliways has changed her life in more ways than she can count.

Now, Jaina walks down from upstairs from tinkering with one of the simulators. Before going to her normal booth, Jaina hobbles over by the bar and deposits a couple of credit chips to cover both her's and Jagged's tabs. Then, she wanders over to her normal booth, resting her crutches against the table and resting her leg on the seat across from her.

She takes out a datapad from her pocket, orders a Corellian ale from a passing waitrat, and begins to write something in the datapad. Like when she first arrived, Milliways isn't the place she had planned to be right now. But this time, Jedi Jaina Fel doesn't care.

It's become a home. And that's what counts the most to her.

[ooc: When I joined this game, I never expected that I'd play as long as I have. It's been a fun year, and thank you to anyone who's ever played with any of my pups, be it Jaina, Zekk, Liz, Gavin, Kate, Chloe, or Klinger. It's been great. :D]

Sam walks in the front door, a bag in her hand. She goes up to the bar and takes out her check book and neatly makes out a check for her tab and Andrew's tab.

After depositing that, she orders a milkshake and goes and sits down somewhere, so she can rest. Mumsies to be shouldn't walk around all day!
[identity profile] jedipilot.livejournal.com
Dinner's long since been over for the couple, but Jaina and Jagged Fel are still downstairs in the bar, sitting next to each other at a booth. Jaina's crutches lean against the table, her legs spread across Jag's lap as opposed to the seat across from her. It's rather comfortable. Well, for her, anyway.

Currently, they're enjoying the last of the strawberry ice cream Jaina had ordered alongside a proper meal - nerf steak, topatoes, and charbote - and talking quietly.

[After this]

As the door shuts behind her, a girl dressed in Peacekeeper tech coveralls lands on the floor with a thump, deactivating her lightsaber through the Force before it clatters on the ground beside her.

Jaina bites down hard on her lip as a surge of pain races through her leg, cursing loudly. The blood's soaked through the pants leg by now; and the large gash on her left leg from the where pulse pistol blast had hit her looks worse than she had previously thought.

But now's not the time to think about that. She needs to get out of this lift, needs to go find Aeryn so they can-- Wait. Something's not right. Jaina blinks, turning her head to look at the lift doors. But where they should be is only a wall. A familiar wall.

"Kriff, I can't be back here," she mutters angrily. Jaina attempts to stand, to bang against the wall - to try something to get out of the bar and back to the Command Cruiser - but her leg can't support the weight and the Jedi collapses on the floor again.

"Kriff, kriff, kriff!"

Mun's never done a multipup post before, so here's to new experiences.

A man and a woman are having breakfast at a table. The man has chosen a seat with a very good view of the door, which he is watching like a hawkbat. Jaina said she would be back soon, but "soon" could be days or weeks or who knows how long.

Jag's never been in Milliways without her before, which is part of the reason he's hanging around Tahiri this morning.

As for the aforementioned blonde, she's picking at a bowl of fruit and browsing idly through Master Windu's accounts of Jedi history. The parts about the Clone Wars are rather interesting. She's got her lightsaber and Security badge but isn't particularly alert for trouble, seeing as the ghostcurse thing has been dealt with.

Squabbling among each other - a mix between mental scoldings and vocalized retorts - as they walk downstairs from the sim room, neither Jaina nor Zekk notice their clothing change upon entering the main bar.

One Jedi's now wearing a strange mix of black and white clothing, while the other is now dressed in red.

Zekk takes one look at Jaina's hair, now standing up in strange curls, and starts laughing. Jaina turns to glower at him and blinks when she sees his own odd hairdo and cape.

It only takes a second more for her eyes to widen when she looks down at her own outfit, as Zekk continues to laugh.

"...the kriff?"

Hmmm, someone hasn't had an entrance post in a while. That should be fixed.

Enter one scarred, married, human-but-still-Chiss commander from upstairs with a datapad, intent on finding dinner.

Looks like shrimp is the order of the night. And on the datapad? A new program for the sims. Just because he's working is no reason not to interrupt, though. Jagged Fel is very rarely social, but wouldn't mind a little company.
[identity profile] jedipilot.livejournal.com
Over at a booth, a couple of Jedi sit with fizzing green and pink Bantha Blasters that had appeared in place of the lomin ales they had ordered. There's also a box of Earth chocolates - Zekk's idea, actually, upon remembering what Sam had mentioned about today.

Getting himself chocolates is obviously a much better idea than getting any for anyone else. ...even if his mindmate's forcing him to share.

Anyway, Jaina and Zekk. One playing with the Nintendo DS that Jaina had 'borrowed' from Gabe a while back while the other continues to flip through her book on Earth dances.
