Mun's never done a multipup post before, so here's to new experiences.

A man and a woman are having breakfast at a table. The man has chosen a seat with a very good view of the door, which he is watching like a hawkbat. Jaina said she would be back soon, but "soon" could be days or weeks or who knows how long.

Jag's never been in Milliways without her before, which is part of the reason he's hanging around Tahiri this morning.

As for the aforementioned blonde, she's picking at a bowl of fruit and browsing idly through Master Windu's accounts of Jedi history. The parts about the Clone Wars are rather interesting. She's got her lightsaber and Security badge but isn't particularly alert for trouble, seeing as the ghostcurse thing has been dealt with.

She shakes her head. "Must've been out of season then."

"Must've." Atton says, giving her a sage nod.

"Have you seen any of the other squadron members around lately?" Jag asks, now that the Jedi part of the conversation is over. "I've written up a few new sim programs, and I need people to test them out."

"I saw Wes ~~and Gavin~~," Atton thinks for a second. "And that's about it, I think. Haven't seen Wes that recently, really."

"We found the girl who talked him out of his blastsword," he says, smirking slightly. "I don't suppose he'll be happy to hear it's been broken."

"Hey," Tahiri jumps in. "She didn't break it, if that's what you're implying. And she said they traded. For the mechanical thing."

"Shame," Atton says. "It was very shiny."

"I hope Jaina's able to fix it when she returns."

"Yeah ..." Atton's hoping that when she does, it's left in a normal sized and clearly labelled box in the middle of the bar.

So he can steal it?

Tahiri is suddenly suspicious.

Pretty much, yes.

And Atton is the very picture of innocence.

Somehow, she doubts this.

A lot.

Aaaand Jag is pretty used to totally missing entire conversations when he's around Jedi.

Par for the course really.

Leaves time for watching the door.

He is. Completely innocent and ... actually a bit shifty looking. He continues looking shifty as he stands up, waves and leaves.

"Bye!" Tahiri calls out after him, a bit belatedly.

One more thing to warn Jaina about, and probably that Chloe girl too.
