Jane comes down from her rooComing down the stairs to the Bar, Jane is amazed by the buzz in the bar tonight. She raises an eyebrow at it. convinced that it is another play or death or other somesuch drama as Milliways is wont to have. Her interest is caught, however, by the large notice in regards to bar tabs. One quick glance gardners her the knowledge that her tab is extravegant, and more pressingly, she is unable to afford to pay any of it. She orders a cup of tea to steady herself, but her hands are obviously trembling, resulting in the cup rattling on its saucer. She must think as to how to solve this problem and with all rapidness. She does not fancy being a pauper once again.

"You look distressed," comments Lust when Jane walks past.

Jane blushes slightly at this, attempting to control herself in front of this very scandalously clad woman.
"Thank you for your concern, my lady," she adds before walking on.

"Are you new here?" Yes, she was feeling evil ...

"I am, fairly. I am afraid I do not spend as much time with people as I should." She is not entirely sure why, but she blushes.

"A pleasure to meet you. What is your name?"

"I am... jane Eyre," she replies warily. "May I ask your name, miss?"

"I am Lust of the Seven Deadly Sins."

Not surprisingly, Jane raises an eyebrow at this.
[ooc:lust-mun, do you have aim, etc? I also may slowtime sometime in the future, maybe an hour or so.]

She smiles lazily.

"You are the embodiment of lust, or you simply wish to invoke it?" Jane looks over the other woman's attire skeptically. "You seem only to suceed with looking the part of a cheap tart."

She chuckles. "I have the power to induce it in others by reaching into their minds ..."

"Is there a particular reason you are talking to me, Miss Lust? Other than a need to make absurd claims?" Jane is now glaring at her, skeptical and defiant.

Her fingers suddenly grow long enough to surround Jane's neck. "Don't belittle people you don't know, human ..."

Jane is a bit frightened, but stands firm. She has been thouroughly temperd with dealing with madwomen and, hardest of all, leaving her beloved.
"I do not believe you, and until you can prove otherwise, I will not believe you."

She arches her eyebrow at Jane. "Will you at least grant I'm not human?"

"I do not know what is human in this place. hank McCoy claims to be human, yet is furry and blue. You are, however, not from my world."

"I was never human. I was never born. I was created."

"By whom? And for what purpose? and what precisely do you want of me?"
Jane is tired, but remains wary.

"I can tell you neither of the first two answers. They would be meaningless to you." She retracts her fingers.

"As for the third, I am trying to understand emotions ..."

Jane would shrug if it were culturally appropriate.
"What are you trying to uderstand about me? I assure you I am not that intereting."

"Your hands were shaking. Why?"

"I owe a large sum of money that I do not have. I dislike being in others' debt, in any way."

"So what emotion were you feeling?" She tilts her head curiously.
