Dinner's long since been over for the couple, but Jaina and Jagged Fel are still downstairs in the bar, sitting next to each other at a booth. Jaina's crutches lean against the table, her legs spread across Jag's lap as opposed to the seat across from her. It's rather comfortable. Well, for her, anyway.

Currently, they're enjoying the last of the strawberry ice cream Jaina had ordered alongside a proper meal - nerf steak, topatoes, and charbote - and talking quietly.

Jaina eyes her husband, kicking gently at his leg again. "If you don't want to trust Tahiri, I'll give her my account number and we'll cover this round for the both of us."

"No no," he says quickly. "I just want to be sure-- you will be careful, right?"

After all, she's wearing the Vong outfit again. That's not really condusive to trust.

"Yes, I will be careful."

There is eyerolling. Lots of eyerolling. "I'm not going tonight though-- I figure I'll head out after the Security meeting tomorrow. Or maybe the day after, but definately sometime this week. I'll find everyone before I leave though, okay?"

"Works for us," she replies, now eying the eyerolling a bit. Jag's just being careful, after all. "I'll make sure you have to have everything ready before you go."

Zekk shakes his head, poking at Tahiri again. "No staying gone too long, though."

"Says the guy who suggested I sign up to be a whore."

Tahiri's not terribly mad though-- the pretty eyes thing was worth it.

"Okay then. Start making your lists and everything tonight, and I'll be around to pick them up tomorrow."

"You'd make a good one," Zekk chimes in, grinning at her. "A really good one, we bet. Cause you're good at the whole--"

"Zekk! We're not discussing this."

"I'll see if they're looking for temporary help then."

Woman with two jobs while the man does nothing. How fair is that? Crazy Zekk.

Zekk's eyes widen and he griiiiins. "Really?"

Tahiri just griiiiins right back. "Why? That get you interested, ventcrawler?"

Jaina squeezes her eyes shut, close to facepalming. This conversation is not fun.

Especially with Zekk's thoughts in her head.

Zekk continues grinning. It might be bordering on a leer now. "You bet."

Jag joins Jaina in a facepalm. "Why don't you two go on upstairs and get it over with?"

"Hey, that doesn't sound like a half bad idea." Zekk smirks at Jag. "Knew you were smart once in a while, Fel."

Jaina's definately facepalming now, kicking at his leg again. "Jag, I really don't wanna be down here while they go at it."

Tahiri winks at Zekk. "C'mon then pretty eyes," she says, pushing him out of the booth. "You can put in a down payment for all you're going owe me after this errand back home."

Zekk's eyes sparkle and he grins. If this was what he was going to owe her for the money run, he's really not going to complain.

"Sure thing, sandflea," he gets in as he stumbles out of the booth, not even making a crack at the 'pretty eyes' name. "Sounds kriffing astral."

That facepalm has definitely turned to a grimace and Jaina kicks at Jag again, warningly.

"What?" Jag's getting kicked bantha eyes. "Would you rather they did it here in the booth?"

Very practical, he is.

Tahiri grins wickedly as she leads the way upstairs. "Just wait until I find the apron."

Jaina meets his kicked bantha eyes with a pair of her own. "Rather we were the ones doing it instead."

Cause right now is definately one of those times Jaina does not like being Zekk's mindmate.

Zekk doesn't gulp as he follows Tahiri away from the booth and towards the stairs. No, really. "...apron?"

Jag gives a dramatic sigh. "Is that a request for a distraction?"

Jaina eyes him, grinning lopsidedly. "What do you think, lover boy?"
