There is a Lawrence.
He is half-slouched on the couch with a flat surface in front of him, idly scribbling on a grid-type paper with coloured inks. He is in fact making a map.
Yes, from Memory. It will be surprisingly accurate.

"And what look would that be, Nicholas?" Another sip of his tea.

I'm well aware of how innocent you are. Or rather, aren't.

It doesn't mean he isn't very good at faking when he wants to be! With those big blue eyes and all...

"I've missed you."
no subject
He grins. "And I you, of course."

"Do sit a little closer."
He's gotten used to his friends practically sitting in his lap. He doesn't expect anything of the like from Lawrence, but a little closer might be nice.

In fact, just for that bit...Lawrence shifts himself - and all his supplies, which really is a skill - down, so that he is slouched against Nick, his board set at an angle and resting on his bent knees.
"I do hope I'm not too close."
no subject
"Oh, no. Just fine."
no subject
He doesn't go back to the whole mapmaking thing, though.

"You know, I haven't come downstairs so much for ages."
no subject
"I do hope that this new trend has something to do with me."
no subject
A sideways look.
"Yes, Lawrence."
And the tone is longsuffering in a teasing sort of way.
no subject
"I was not aware that blood in fact came in brands."

"It is good, at any rate, to see you coming downstairs more often."
no subject
"Good for me as well. I... tend to brood when left to my own devices."
no subject
"I assure you that I know from experience." How long had he sulked after Deraa?

Smirk? What smirk?
no subject
There is something to his expression that says he should like to wipe the smirk off his face in the nicest way possible.
no subject
"Perhaps I am, Nicholas."

He goes about packing up his maps rather calmly, taking his time.
no subject
"Very prompt, aren't we?"
no subject
An arched brow.
