...well, he had to come in SOME time
"--out me, all right? I'll be right back. Just going to--"
Interrupted words for a man interrupted in time and space, plucked out like a daisy in the garden of life (though he'd more than likely cuff you one if you called him a daisy, so best to keep that to yourself). That being said, Creedy certainly wasn't expecting to find a drinking establishment, well... anywhere being as the only alcohol in the castle came from his own tub, and especially not at the latrine.
For one, it wasn't exactly sanitary.
For another, it's a pub. At the latrine.
He holds up a hand, as if to scold someone or other for... something. What. Something. Then he spins around because whoever it was wasn't in front of him, so perhaps they were behind him. No.
Aha.
So...
"QUINN!"

"...hi."

That was an answer, but... aah, a little lower.
"Hello."
no subject
It seems the obvious guess, after all.
no subject
"I'd say so, yes. New to here."

"Nice to meet you, Gavroche. Name's Creedy. I'm not in France, am I?"
no subject
"Nah, I haven't been there for ages. I told you, it's Milliways."
no subject
He stands up straight again.
"Still in England then?"

Because Quinn always had the answers. Always. Or at least, when he didn't, it felt better that they didn't know the answers together.

There's an obvious joke about a mind in a gutter that could be made here. However, Creedy is talking to Quinn. Also, for the record, he's rather confused and someone freaked out, so he won't be making that joke.

A nod.
"And I hope you don't think I think--"
He takes a moment to blink before really looking around.
"...and this is it, then?"

"Words," he says after a minute, "don't aptly describe it, now, do they?"

And she's practically startled by the shout in the first place.
"You're looking for him too?"
She asks. Pretty girl all in black, looks a little tired and on the thin side but, she's rather tall for her nationality.
no subject
There's a moment where he tries to figure out if this is some girl that Quinn's kept quiet about or another adoptee, but being as Quinn is Quinn, he figures it's the latter as opposed to the former.
"Yeah. He, uh, he's a friend of mine. Friend of yours, then?"
no subject
"You could say that. He and I did have a conversation yesterday and he helped me out after something happened."
She tilts her head to one side slightly.
"I was looking for him to thank him."
no subject
In his opinion, Quinn didn't get enough thanks. If someone was going to give him some, all the more power to them.
"Well, I wasn't exactly looking for him, but then I stepped in here instead of-" well, he's not going to say he was walking to the latrine "someplace else and if anyone'd know what was going on, it'd be him."
He looks at her carefully.
"Helped you out with something?"
no subject
Well, for once, she knows, kind of, what she's doing.
"I was trying to hide in a closet and wound up here."
She inclines her head at the question.
"It's a little complicated."
And she doesn't know how he'll react if he's told that she had Quinn help her by turning her into a horse.

no subject
"Not exactly. My cousin invited someone over that I did not want to see and so, I hid and wound up stuck here."
no subject
Quinn's not the only one who tends towards helping those in need.
"Ahh. Right."
He looks around.
"Been here long? And, uh, happen to know exactly where 'here' is?"
