Bellatrix is smiling when she walks in.

And she doesn't stop smiling for a moment when she sees where she is, not even a flicker.

"Oh, dear, we save things like that for private. Bellatrix Black Lestrange. And you are?"

*He frowns for a moment. He knows that name.*

Adam...

She doesn't say, "A pleasure," but merely studies him.

*He studies her right back, the cogs in his brain working, albeit slowly.*

. . . you're the one from the cells.

"Oh, ever so much more than that, really. But I spent some time there."

*He raises his eyebrows in disbelief.*

If you say so.

She smiles, and it is not pleasant or kind, though it is amused.

"I very much do."

Huh.

*Oddly, it doesn't look like he believes her. SHOCK.*

Bellatrix couldn't care less whether he believes her or not.

He's not a wizard, of this she's certain. No matter what else he may be--well, it doesn't matter, does it?

*It certainly needn't matter to her right at this moment. It's possible, though - likely, even - that there's a sneaky grin spreading across Adam's face.*

Oh, quite his right for that.

She barely notices.

He's of no interest, really.

*Nope. No interest at all. And why should he be? After all, she likely doesn't even feel a thing as he sits there and his smile goes to more of a frown then to a scowl.*

Bellatrix glances at him. "Something wrong?"

*He mutters.*

Apparently.

"Pity."

*He glances towards the door.*

Oh, there's nothing wrong with me, lady.

"I'm certain that's debatable."

Right.

*He's definitely frowning now.*

Well, I'll-

see you around.

*No London. No take-away. Not tonight.*

"Mmm." He's glanced at just briefly before her attention goes back to her drink.
