The door opens... and it seems Sharpe wasn't expecting it to open here right this moment, because he's not alone when he walks in.
He's going slowly and carefully, for reasons that become clear when he gets all the way in... and so does the very small boy clinging to his hand and toddling after him.
Welcome to Milliways, Patrick Lassan.

Really, she doesn't.
Okay, maybe a little. But really, who could blame her?
Of course, the dress is...a bit odd. At least by her standards.
But bebe is adorable.
"You know, when you said you were going to be a father, I was expecting a bit of a wait before the baby could walk on his own. Been a while, has it?"
no subject
"Nah, only a day or two." He grins. "This here's my oldest... boy. Only boy."
He almost forgets about Antonia sometimes. Almost.
no subject
"Oh, I see. He's cute."
Faith smiles at the kid. "Starting him off in bars young? Excellent."

"Clearly a bad habit waiting to happen."

Jon Snow's only experience with small children was his half-brother Rickon, but Rickon...was never that small. At least to Jon.
"...A beautiful child my lord."
Sansa said you should always say that to parents.
Ghost for his part-looks up and looks down. He's perfectly aware that he scares small children.

Patrick looks up with wide eyes. He's used to dogs, but not ones quite this much bigger than him.

"-I'm sorry my-sir." Jon flails, "-Everyone who's of a higher rank then I is "Lord" or Ser." He shrugs, "Your son?"
Sharpe didn't seem like the type to marry. but what does Jon know?
no subject
"Aye. First and only son, so far, though Lucille's expecting again so who knows?"
no subject
There's a sick look on his face, but it passes quickly.
Ghost wags his tail again and sets his nose between his paws, looking up with what his owner could only describe as an "adorable" expression.
Jon grimaces, "Ghost-"
Direwolf's going Soft.

"You all right, lad?"

"This wouldn't happen to be little master Patrick, now, would it?"
no subject
"That it would. Patrick... time to meet your uncle Matt."
no subject
"Aye, it's been too long already, by the looks of him."
He smiles up at Richard.
"Got all the looks that skipped you, obviously."
no subject
Patrick looks between them with wide solemn eyes, one hand latched onto Sharpe's trouser leg - as much for balance as for reassurance.

"I'm your father's brother, little one. Family."

Obviously, time was moving quite differently between here and there.

"Hey, Svava. Did I ever mention my son?"
no subject
She slips down off of her barstool, to kneel down closer to the little one's height. "Hello there."
no subject
The boy isn't quite up to words, yet, but smiles at her shyly.
no subject
"And hello to you too. Decided to come and visit here with your father?"
no subject
The boy looks up at his father, who nods encouragement, and reaches to latch onto Svava's finger with his free hand.
