"Hello, Richard," she says softly, that child-like quality returning to her. "I promised David I wouldn't play with you or the children."

She eyes him.
"And I don't want to upset him, so I promised to be a good girl."

"Well, yes. Trying to hurt us could get messy very quickly. I'm not certain that I could stop what would happen to you."

"Well, I have promised not to." She stares at him. "I saw Lestat. It was unpleasant."

"I am sorry to hear that. He can be quite capricious and shallow, can't he?"

She doesn't like crying.
"I keep hoping to see Louis."
Claudia's face grows soft with her love and memory of Louis. It makes her look like a true child, the expression, but it passes like a cloud over the sun.

"Louis keeps to himself these days. I think he's had enough of our nonsense, really."

"If I weren't dead, I could leave. I think it would be easier to see him, find him, if I were able to go with David."

He takes the liberty of stepping around the bar and heating a mug of blood for her.

Although 'fix' was a relative term. There were only two things, though, that she would desire changed.

"I'd not want to be dead. I'd want to be what I was before Armand interfered. And then... then I'd want to be grown up. Have the body I shoud have had."

He thinks for a bit.
"I know that there are those who can remove the vampiric curse and restore humanity. That would allow you to grow up."

It was all she knew. All her mind could fathom. Years as a human, waiting to grow up? God forbid that should happen!

"Sorry, sweetheart, it's the only way I know of. Doesn't mean it's the only way, though. You'll have to ask around. There are all manner of gods, angels, and healers hanging around here."
