[OOM: Angela's sentence is over.]
A skinny teenage girl in filthy clothes is pushed roughly into the bar, the door slamming behind her. She's blindfolded. She stumbles forward, and falls to the floor.
She mutters something that sounds like the equivalent of a keyboard mistype, whimpers, and falls silent, lying there like a child's discarded doll.
[plot-locked, please!]

"Angie!" She rushes over, almost falling in her haste, fearful - no, terrified - that it's too late. She drops to her knees and gently lifts Angie into her arms, one hand against her face, and she's so pale --
"Angie," almost a plea, suddenly numb fingers trying to undo the blindfold and Angie's eyes are closed behind the fabric and she's barely breathing.

Reaching Angie's side, he doesn't bother fiddling with the knot of the blindfold--even fi Kim's hands weren't in the way, it would take too long, and instead pulls it up over her head.
"Angie?" He tries to hold her head steady, pulling one of her eyelids up to check her eyes. They're bloodshot, glassy, and he can't be sure whether she's been given anything or if it's something else. "Angela, can you hear me?"

He follows, steps quickening when he finally sees the form on the floor, crouching next to who he assumes is Jack when he arrives.
"She alive?"

Her eyes flutter open but things are...rather like looking through water at the moment. She tries to speak, but not much more than a strange jumble of syllables comes out.
Her lips are dry. Angela swallows.
Finally: "Sorry..."
She's not sure who she's apologizing to, or why, but she feels she needs to.

Her voice is almost inaudible and if Kim hadn't been leaning in, her face inches from hers, she might have missed it.
She looks up into her Dad's eyes, barely keeping herself together. "Something's wrong."

"Nothing to be sorry for. We're gonna get you fixed up." He glances at Jack as well. "Right?"

Carefully getting to his feet, he turns and, trying not to jostle Angela too much, starts hurrying toward the infirmary.

He is pushign from the opther side and at Jack's side immediately helping him make a hole through the group.
"What happenned?"
His voice is taut even as his scanner comes out.

It's so hard to breathe, too hard.
"Sorry. I tried..."
Her breathing is getting shallower, and her eyes are beginning to drift shut.

When Hank comes running up, she tries to regain some control. "She -- came through the door, someone had her and they -- " she sees Angie's eyes drifting closed and her chest barely moving.
"No, Angie, stay with us, you're going to be okay, it's going to be okay, just stay with us...," she runs her fingers gently over matted red-gold hair and there's more than a little panic in her voice.

"She's been held for about five days, and she might--she probably has been drugged. She's not very responsive and her eyes are bloodshot and cloudy. I'm not sure how aware she is of what's going on."

As he goes, he talks.
"She is dehydrated and it looks like she has several drugs in her system. From the state of her stomach she cant have eaten in at least 24 hours, She needs fluids, protein, and vitamins intravenously and I will have to give her something to drive the drugs out of her system."
