So, he hadn't meant to come back to the bar yet. It's one thing getting your ass kicked by your enemies, quite another to let the world at large see the results. But when there's a screaming kid at home and you've got a headache, anything becomes preferable - and anyway, he doesn't care what people think, right?
And so, instead of sitting in a booth as normal, Ramon's at the bar in plain sight. If you point out that he looks like someone bashed the hell out of his face, he probably won't offer to share the tequila.

"You look like shit. Who'd you piss off?"

'What are you talking about?'
Because playing dumb will obviously work here. But there's a chance that Melou is just talking about the job in general, in which case, fine. He throws a drink back instead, which exposes the bruising from getting choked.

"If they'd let me in on you wouldn't be breathing."
no subject
He just shrugs one shoulder and pours another drink.
'So I should be glad you weren't there? If you say so, kid.'

And looking all neat and tidy. Combed hiar, washed face, clean clothes - bare feet, because some things never change.
But her expression when she spots him is something between a smirk and brief, chased away concern.
"Get in a fight, dear?"

'Observant, aren't you?'

Light and relaxed and very much not caring. He likely deserved it.
"Who with, if it's any of my buisness?"

The word 'friend' is, of course, said sarcastically. And he doesn't bother to look at her, though this could easily be because it's painful to twist and look down the length of a bar when your ribs are broken.
no subject
"Never is. And yet, I ask, and you tell."
Lights a cigarette and takes a deep drag, consideringly.
no subject
He smiles - also sarcastically - and pours himself another drink.
'Besides, I've got nothing to be ashamed of.'

In fact, the next round's up almost before he's done...accompanied by an ice pack.
Write it off as Bar's general perceptiveness. Certainly has nothing to do with the blonde walking away from the other end of the bar; she's too focused on her own drink to even look at him.
[ooc: mun will be fleeing in about five minutes and won't be back until late, should you desire to play this out at all. whatever works for you.]

He looks around for who might have ordered for him and his eyes narrow as he considers the blonde. Would be the sort of thing she'd do.
[OOC: I'm up for playing it out if you are. Slowtime is of the love, but it's up to you.]

Could be.
For now, though she's taking a page from his book and steadfastly ignoring him. She takes a seat at table in the middle of the room, from which he is still visible...if she were looking at him. Which she's not.
She just watches the room idly and sips at her drink--tequila tonight.
Tequila's for her bad nights. Or for nights when she's feeling nostalgic.
Sometimes these things overlap.
no subject
He's not in the mood for accepting gifts tonight, and never off of her.
no subject
She touches neither the ice pack nor the glass.
Not even when she finishes her own drink.
She just turns her head toward the observation window and ignores the (gifts) things.

'Feeling better?'

He says after a moment, looking his caith'd'ein over.
He would, he should ask the same.
He doesn't want to know how Ramon got hurt, so he won't.

So he just summons a rat to bring him another drink and says, 'You still look like shit. Bianca making you eat?.'
no subject
His voice is wry, amused,
"As is everyone else I know."
no subject
'How long before you're back to normal? Usually, I mean.'
