[OOM: After frustrating fights with possible employers, Jaina wanders into Csaplar for a break and her luck changes with a chance encounter.]

Right now, is cause for celebration. Her poncho's thrown off to the side of the booth, now covered with various tools and objects as Jaina continues to work on the small scum scrubber she had brought with her from home. There's still a while before Jag comes home and today, she wants to find people to brag to.

There's a small loaf of ryshcate on the table and a glass of Whyren's to add to the celebration and every now and then, a bright smile and proud look crosses over her face while she works on the droid.

After all, this is the first time Jaina Solo Fel's ever possessed a job that doesn't involve killing other beings.

"From what I've tried, you have a good selection. It's not bad at all."

Bonzo smirks.

"Somebody needs to remind the IF of that. Their food selection leaves much to be desired."

He takes another bite of the Ryshcate...delicious.

"Any military organization is like that. Rations when I worked with the NR navy wasn't much better."

There's a good old-fashioned nod from Bonzo. Yes, this is something he is (often painfully) aware of.

"Figured as much. Are the Chiss part of...the Galactic Alliance, is it now?"

"No," Jaina says with a slight snort, hiding her laughter with a hand.

To her, the idea of the Chiss ever really ending their isolationist policies seems outlandish.

"It's why we're living on Csilla. Jag didn't want to leave the CEDF for the GA."

Bonzo blinks, looking slightly confused.

"How does this work out, with you being a Jedi?"

"The Masters will contact me if there's any fieldwork or missions they need me for. But Jag's requested I cut back, so..."

It's why she got the side job. To keep herself occupied.

"You're on a leave of absence of sorts."

Pause.

"You still owe me a tour of Denon."

And yes, there's a grin on Bonzo's face as he says this. He has a very good memory for things like this.

"It's not permanent," Jaina says sternly. She will remind her husband and aunt of that. Eventually.

And then she laughs, her face a mix of amusement and bewilderment. "Kriff, Bonzo, I haven't been to Denon in years."

"I never said it was."

Pause, while Bonzo joins in Jaina's laughter.

"That's right, the government moved back to Coruscant after the war, and then you moved out."

"Right," Jaina answers, grin still in place. "Which means Denon isn't exactly the local hotspot it once was."

"Figures. Ok..."

Bonzo ponders the change-of-capitals for a moment.

"And I don't think the Chiss would welcome yet another human in the neighborhood."

"Not particularly," she says with a slight shrug. "But if the Chiss didn't know you were there, I don't see what the harm would be."

Bonzo blinks.

"How would they not know?"

"If you visited the farm. Or if I smuggled you out to the Evasive Maneuvers," Jaina adds with a grin.

Bonzo grins...that would be just like Jaina, too.

"You own a farm?"

"Yeah." That's not a giggle you hear now, really. "Jag bought us a shrimp farm, after all."

Ok, something Bonzo definitely didn't know.

"Congratulations on finding a home."

And he's smirking at Jaina's giggling. He will not, however, be congratulating her on Jag buying the farm.

(OOC: And...brief slowtime...back in about 90 min. to 2 hrs.)

"It's not much, and we're still not entirely done with unpacking, but it doesn't matter. It's ours."

And it's the first home Jaina feels that she's had in a long time.

Bonzo smiles.

"Nice. So, where are you going to be making your shipping runs?"

"Probably within the Chiss Ascendency. I can't imagine the Chiss having much contact outside of their region."

"Fair enough. I didn't know if they had become less isolationist as time went on or not."

Jaina chuckles and shakes her head. "No, not at all. Still as isolationist as ever."

Bonzo smiles and shrugs. "Some things never change, do they?"

"And some things do," Jaina replies with a soft smile, thankful for the changes that have recently occurred in her life.
