A mussy-headed teenage boy and rumpled-looking teenage girl made their way downstairs both of them still looking sleepy.
"--And this is the Bar itself, which, uh, you've already seen--you can order anything from it and it just...appears."

Then she got a very devious smile on her face.
Usually when that smile was in place, something very devious was about to happen.
"I dunno, Danny..." Her fingers trailed over his shoulders, just touching, barely. "The lake sounds awfully good right now..."

"Tough choice," he said, and then they were plummeting towards the lake, not too fast--just enough for it to be fun, like a roller coaster.

When they hit the water she let go of him and plummeted down, then swam up and shook her hair out, teeth chattering with the sudden cold.
"Th-that. Was. AWESOME." She spat out water and laughed. "C-can we do it a-again?"

It was a good thing they'd both kicked off their shoes earlier and that Sam had been so angry that when she stormed off, she had forgotten them.

Memorizing this.
Because it was real.

"Ready? One two three--"
They both dropped and he let her go, arms flailing so they both had room to splash as they went in.

"C-cold," she murmured next to ear... and then kissed the back of his neck gently.
no subject
"Yeah. Let's get out and dry off."
He turned and gathered her up in his arms, like a hero would rescue a damsel in distress (she hardly ever was one, he loved that about her), then flew, the both of them dripping, to the edge of the lake, and sat down in the grass. They were far away from the bar.
He hoped no one would steal their shoes.

She flopped down to the grass and breathed in.
After a moment, "Recap time: we fought, we made out, we're dating, we went flying, we flew into a lake, now we're here." She turned to him, smirking. "You sure know how to wear out a girl, Fenton."
no subject
"Uh," he said, "is it okay if I take off my shirt to let it dry?"

She turned and looked at him, blinking. "Danny. You were jealous of Gregor. And the guy in the Bar."

Then he admitted, "I didn't really know what it was at the time. All I knew was that I was mad and didn't want him near you."
no subject
She crawled half over him, still dripping, and kissed him warmly. "Idiot."
no subject
He leaned in to kiss her again, kiss her cheek, trail down the side of her face, nuzzling her neck and kissing there...

It was obvious he wasn't really any more experienced than she was, but there was a lot you could do just by trying.
It was a fun sort of thing to be a learning experience.
He kept pressing his lips against the skin of her neck, up in that little spot under her ear, back down again.
His skin was starting to feel hot, and he felt something...stirring in his chest, in the pit of his stomach...lower...

Experimentation was fun.
She kissed the hollow of his neck, then one of his collar bones. Because his shirt was off. That was a nice side effect.
no subject
That made it really exciting.
And still really horrifying, because what if he did something wrong, what if he scared her or something?
Slowly, torturously slow, in Danny's mind, his hands palmed the soft (wet) skin of her stomach, then started to slide up, just a little bit, not too far.
"Is--is this okay?"
