Okay, he's back. Jittery, (though he knows better than to show it,) and watching the bar from a place in the corner (where he can have his back to a wall) and fingers curled tight around his glass.

But he is here.

Crossing to her, before settling lazily into the seat next, immediately tipping it back onto two legs to rock.

"The co-owner of the bar."

She eyes the glass of water with something like distaste.

"A rather lovely man called Hawkeye."

"Hawkeye!"

Jack sits up straight.

"You must not hurt him."

Fire eyes him.

"Jack, wasn't it? I didn't."

And then she and says, low and purring, "There was no 'hurt' last night."

"Oh, ew."

Jack rolls his eyes, and looks away.

Relieved.

She bats her eyelashes.

She tosses her head, and sits back, away from him.

She half-glares.

"Honestly, brother. At least I am being polite."

He snarls, a little, but subsides.

She pulls a lighter out of her pocket, flicking it in her fingers.

She's curious.

She hisses between her teeth, and nods.

She eyes him.

She nods, twisting a stand of hair around her finger, eyes far away.
