Reply letter from Asar-Suti in hand, he goes through Milliways with a fine-toothed comb.
Rabastan's tried the garden and the library, and even that trilobite tank with those weird arthropods in it.
Three times already.
So far he hasn't run into Asar-Suti and that just compounds his anxiety.
How hard can it be to find one purple god anyways?
He sighs, shaking his head.
Time to make the rounds again...

Then, Asar-Suti came sauntering out into the garden through the kitchen door, looking extremely pleased with live in general.

Possibly because he had ... something ... else ... on his mind that had nothing to do with werewolves, bitten women, or purple gods.
"Hello," he says, once his heartrate slows down. "I've been looking for you for half the morning and a good part of the afternoon too."

Asar-Suti was still extremely laid-back and content with the world.
"Hi, Rabastan."

He stares at the floor as though it's the most interesting thing in the world for a good five minutes.
"Hello Asar-Suti," he mumbles. "I take it you got my letter just fine?"
no subject
He sat on a lawn chair and put his feet on the nearby table; then, he conjured a large jug of ice tea and two glasses. "Tea?"
no subject
However, he says nothing. Because he's still trying to sort it out himself.
"Tea would be nice, yes," he replies, slightly pink about the ears. "I asked you to see me because of ... an accident that occured prior to the full moon, after Strahan had taken me out for a training session without you."

He waved at the garden bench nearby.

Take the distraction offered; it'll keep your mind off other things.
"It was after, when we were heading back to the bar."

And he was still scared of werewolves.

He looks about, feeling a sense of being watched. Even with his series of distractions Rabastan's just aware enough of the world around him to know when someone's staring at him.
So he does what everyone does: he turns his head and his body this way and that to find the person doing the staring.

"Draco? Is that you?"
no subject
Draco finally lifted his head, trying to give a proper appearance.
"...Yes, uncle."
no subject
"Draco I'm not going to maul you," he said, trying not to think of his ring. "You don't have to worry about that."
no subject
"...I know that." He knows, but does he believe?
Uh... he'll get back to you on that?
Maybe?
no subject
And mean.
"Then why are you still hiding from me?"

Full moons have a tendency to leave him nervy even after they've passed.
"Oh. Hello there!"
He's recovered from his start just fine. ^^!

He laughs.
ZOMG so cute!

He follows after her.
She's small, so keeping up with her shouldn't be too hard.
no subject
She pads forward then darts under a nearby table and takes off.

It also means you have to apologise every third stride for whatever it is you did to the person you collide with.
This would be a lot easier if he were smaller.
Too bad the ring doesn't have a small body in it or he could give proper chase.
Hey Rabastan! Try using that human brain to outwit the kitten!
