Helping a new arrival earlier had distracted Sara from the knowledge that, once again, timelines had played tricks on her.

She doesn't have a distraction now, and so she can be found sipping a cup of coffee pensively.

He pulled chunks of wall and ceiling tile from my hair. Extremely hot stuff, let me tell you." Her voice is dry. "Needless to say, I enjoyed logically giving the bitch her ass on a platter."

"I'll never argue with that."

"Least you got your revenge?"

"She chose to join a firm outside of the Las Vegas area," Sara says placidly.
