Re-Entrance Post
Sure, she defeated the evil Prince Gloom, restored sparkle to Ponyland, won the love and gratitude of many colorfully-assed ponies and if she stayed longer, they'd probably make her their chief.
But even if Lilly weren't missing her friends at the bar, there's a limited amount of time she can stay in a place where the hardest drink is apple juice and none of the men are anatomically correct. That time is up.
The front door opens and Lilly enters, grinning cheerfully and swinging a basket in each hand as she heads for the bar. Her hair is suspiciously sparkly and she's gotten tanner, but other than that, nothing's changed.
Well. Don't ask about her flanks.

When other people do it.
"How're tricks, Puck? Get into lots of trouble while I was gone?"
no subject
"Hardly any, really. Though I was introduced to 'goth stripping,' as was a goodly number of our patrons."
no subject
"I missed goth stripping? Oh, pleeeeease tell me someone taped it? Or took pictures?"
no subject
"Oh, I hope not. Else a certain lady should be most displeased with me."
no subject
Lilly slumps dejectedly against the bar.
"Well, at least tell me who some of the participants were so I can beg them for reenactments?"
no subject
"I should hate to name names. Though I do seem to recall that dear Laini brought us all together for the purpose." He pauses thoughtfully. "But let me see ... a rather stody, bespectacled fellow was there ... as was Jack of the Frost and--"
Draco.
But he did promise him he wouldn't tell, didn't he.
"In my opinion, however," he adds smoothly, "the truly interesting parties were the victims."
no subject
Lilly looks confused even as she makes a mental note to find out if Laini wants a job.
"How are there victims in goth stripping? Unless you mean the audience?"
no subject
Why yes. He does enjoy beinh cryptic.
no subject
Lilly keeps giving him the same look.
"Okay, what is stripping the antidote to, exactly? Besides boredom and clothing?"
no subject
He tilts his head, eyeing Lilly to gauge her familiarity with this phenomenon.
no subject
"Yuppiedom? The bar got an epidemic of yuppiedom?"
Well. Better that than hippies, she guesses. Patchouli scents never really go away.
no subject
"Oh, yes," he says. "'Twas a terrible malady. Even I scarcely escaped with my wits."
no subject
Lilly blinks.
"I thought nightmares and evil killer witches were bad. But yuppies?. Damn."
no subject
"Oh, I know. I was most pleased to be a part of the solution, in this case."
He smiles.
If only Moiraine could be relied on to feel the same way!
no subject
She would be, after all. As it is, she's just sorry she missed the show.
no subject
Puck tilts his head, looking her over.
"And how have you been keeping yourself, Lilly dearest? It seems an age since I last beheld your sweet face."
no subject
"I was off saving a world of children's toy ponies from losing all their sparkle and color to a prince with depression issues. Good times."
no subject
"Well. I am sure both children and ponies were most grateful."
Sparkle is good-- and she does seem to glitter a bit more than is strictly usual, though with Lilly that's always difficult to gauge.
