Lake Party Water Post Day Two

Sunshine Dust, the golden squid, frolics closer to shore today. There were so many people to play with in the lake yesterday! And squids need love and attention too!

There's a soft breeze coaxing the water into gentle waves, playing around the Black Pearl's sails.

If you didn't get a chance to swim yesterday, there is only today.

Tomorrow, it will be February again.

That voice, that smirk, Babs groans. "Oh no. I just offered help to royalty, didn't I?" Because royalty's a state of mind, and it's a state that Meg is rather familiar with.

"Megara, Princess of Thebes." She grins a liquid grin and splashes the water with her feet, flashing her olive-skinned ankles.

Babs blinks, "Thebes? Wow..." She frowns and then makes a gallant attempt to verbalize a dead language, "[So, just how awful is my accent?]"

Megara laughs. "Oh, honey. Stick with the magic translation option."

Meg's not nice, no she isn't.

Barbara actually laughs back, "That bad, huh? I suppose I could claim it's not my fault because no one's spoken it in over a thousand years, but that would be something of a lame excuse."

She looks over at Meg, "So what brings you out here, anyway? Don't you have much nicer places to swim back in Thebes?"

Meg wrinkles her nose. "If I could go swimming in Thebes, believe me, I would. I take it you're from the future? How nice for you." Meg doesn't ask where. Meg doesn't CARE. But Barbara is welcome to tell her if she wants to.
