Lake Party Water Post Day Two
Sunshine Dust, the golden squid, frolics closer to shore today. There were so many people to play with in the lake yesterday! And squids need love and attention too!
There's a soft breeze coaxing the water into gentle waves, playing around the Black Pearl's sails.
If you didn't get a chance to swim yesterday, there is only today.
Tomorrow, it will be February again.

A different kind of entrance...
Finally, though, it is time to rise back up again, and so he does, slowly, head breaking the surface and...
...he blinks around at the lake party in Milliways' back area.
"What the--?"
Alice?
Re: A different kind of entrance...
Yes?
But even as she says that one word she dives under after where he'd gone. It doesn't take long for her to resurface right next to her husband. In which case she blinks a bit. How the hell...?
"Someone explain this to me again..."

This logic does not compute.
But other people seem to have enjoyed it, so, y'know. Might as well see? And so it that there is a Fire sitting at the very edge of the lake, right where the water meets the sand, and inching her way in.
Slowly.
Veeeeeeery slowly.

"Testing out the waters?"
Little motes of golden light dance around him.

"It doesn't bite, in case you're wondering. It's great out there," he commented offhandedly.

Well there was one in the water now, expertly practicing he knew as a kid, and some techniques he learned in the Navy. And as long as he was underwater... maaaaybe a sly way to do some flying? Or at least *very fast* swimming?
Possibly...
Or not.

She's GREEK. Why would she wear CLOTHING to go SWIMMING?

...Well, she liked the green one better, but it got FLUNG AWAY.
She may die if she realises Babs knows this.
It'd be quite funny.
"Good morning," she offers, drifting up all unawares.

She'd go farther, but she's admiring the Black Pearl for now.

He has chosen a spot at the edge of the lake, flanked with two HUGE DOGS that are HAPPY FOR SUN AND WATER. Zuko sits on a rock and looks pensive.
Pensive.
At a damn party.
This just isn't right.

Well, you know. And Katara is oblivious at the moment since she's having fun in the water over there, just a little ways off, idly swimming. Jet had gone in long before she was ready and she was happily getting pruny doing somersaults and spins, diving beneath the water then popping back up again.
She does not, it should be noted, jump off any rocks. Oh, no.

He's still wearing jeans though. Because he's Parker, he doesn't do swimming.

He doesn't seem to be distressed by the fact, though.

Yes, vampire, full sun, no bad side effects.
He's close to shore, but just far enough away that he can do laps easily.

Well, February can go do something rude with itself, if you catch the drift.
That seems to be one person's opinion, at the very least. There is a redhead on the bank of a lake, a towel beneath her, laid out with her eyes closed and her face tilted to the sun. In case one has forgotten the color of said eyes, the tankini she wears to preserve some semblance of modesty happens to be the exact same lovely shade of blue as them
(thank you, Bar)
though if you can get past the bright flashes of red and gold in her hair each time she turns her head, kudos to you.

So he's treading water trying to come up with a fix when he see's a familiar face out on the bank. Great. Not wanting to bring attention to his dilemma he tries to paddle on by.
Bill really isn't all that stealthy...

There was an area where willows trailed fronds in the water, just at the blurred edges of the dreaming's forest...
...and it felt safe...
That's where Rachel was to be found, head cradled on a waterlogged root, the rest of scarred self held in the waters as she seemed to sleep.
