Lake Party Water Post Day Two
Sunshine Dust, the golden squid, frolics closer to shore today. There were so many people to play with in the lake yesterday! And squids need love and attention too!
There's a soft breeze coaxing the water into gentle waves, playing around the Black Pearl's sails.
If you didn't get a chance to swim yesterday, there is only today.
Tomorrow, it will be February again.

She shakes her head.

"Then why even play at trying at all?"
no subject
no subject
"But is it fun to you?"
no subject
She flops over backwards, staring at the sky.
"Not reeeeeeeally."
no subject
"I would have pegged you for one of the people that's stretched out enjoying the sun." He gives a grin. "So, how's the water treating you?"
no subject
"Well...I've not melted."
Yet.
no subject
"Why would you melt?" He looks out at the lake. "If anything I would think you'd turn the water to steam instead of melt."
Can fire actually melt?
no subject
But the idea of melting is totally cooler.
no subject
"Would you really?" There's a flicker of disappointment in his voice. Because that'd just be a shame.
You're right. It is totally cooler.
no subject
You never know!
no subject
"You haven't tried it?"
no subject
Doesn't mean she'll try again.
no subject
Look, a curious vampire.
no subject
BUT THAT DON'T MEAN NUTHIN'
no subject
"So...you're worried about nothing?"
no subject
Asshole.
no subject
He's grinning.
"Care to try wading further? See if I'm right?"
no subject
Just in case.

And then he's leaning forward, hand trailing in the water. Or more like trying to see just how much water his hand can hold.
