Lake Party Water Post Day Two
Sunshine Dust, the golden squid, frolics closer to shore today. There were so many people to play with in the lake yesterday! And squids need love and attention too!
There's a soft breeze coaxing the water into gentle waves, playing around the Black Pearl's sails.
If you didn't get a chance to swim yesterday, there is only today.
Tomorrow, it will be February again.

He finally replied, "...Sometimes." Every so often, he'll wonder. But it was the past, she was gone, and not like he really had a chance to know her.

Nathan might have glanced at her again, wondering. Something so familiar. Ties with fire, like it's always been so, and will continue to be.
He wasn't even aware yet that it was a family thing. His brother. The (missing) daughter. All goes back to fire.

She turns to glance at him, half-smiles. "Things repeat themselves."

"Going to be more fires?"

She shakes her head, "But I'm no fortune-teller. Don't take my word that they'll come back for you."

"Good."

"Surprised I didn't run into you at the bonfire last night. Or you were there earlier?"

Small smile back, "Gets boring after a while. Not enough action." He liked to keep moving. Why he hated being Bound so much. Confined. Trapped.
And likely why a small part of him is maybe glad for the flying.

She's all for lazing the days away.

She shrugs, "So I do."
